I just purchased a 1998 K1500 (without the Z-71 package) that came with steel wheels. Do the 5-spoke alloys that came with the Z-71 package fit? I know they are both 6-lug and I believe thay both have 5.5" bolt pattern but is the offset correct? Also, what size tires

Next week my 91 suburban will be going to the mechanic to change the intake manifold gasket. Is there anything else they should be when they have the engine open??? I was going to have them check the stretch of the timing chain, wear on the distributor, relash the valves, ...

'98 Z71 w/5.7, 78k miles, looks like the intake gaskets are starting to leak... (from reading some of the other forums, it seems GM's got a problem with this intake manifold) Anyone had any luck getting the dealership correct the problem?

I've got the pleasent job of replacing the front bearing/hub on my 99 jimmy, I've got the caliper loose, but cant get it off, all it will do it wiggle around. How do I get that loose? Also do I have to take the entire spindle assembly off?

Hi I pulled my front wheel opff today on my 2002 Trailblazer I notice some grease around the CV boot area but not much and I never found any cracks in the boot unless I never saw it is thjat grease normal form driving or do you think the CV boot really crack thanks

i see the 98 suburban has a 40 gallon tank. its rated for 18mpg highway which gives me about 720 miles per tank highway. i will be using it to commute to work and hope to fill up only once a

Just picked up a engine. Has a new cam and lifters. It is a roller cam. Part numbers are 097 01R and 586FM61. Looks fairly agressive with a good lift. Like I said, it's new obvious 0 miles on cam and lifters. Hate to throw it out but I have to know what it is so I can match the ...
