hello i have a 1984 gmc 4x4 shorty and getting confused about the k10 and
k15?
i know  2wheel drive is c1500 and 4 wheel drive is k1500.
so i`m assuming that i have a k15?

Just swapped out a 305 for a 350 in my '87 Chevy van... won't idle, though
it drives great. I now suspect I need to change the EPROM in my ECM. I need
help finding sources of information on this. Are dealers out there that
program eproms for you??

I have a 1987 S10 with the 2.8l with 5spd, which has 82000 original
miles. I have a noise that occurs when I slow down and the clutch is
still engaged. It seems (hard for me to say exactly) to emanate from
under the engine or transmission. The noise ceases once the vehicle is

I have a 2004 1500 4x4 standard work truck. Is there any way of lifting
just the front end to level the truck out. I also would like to know
what is the biggest size wheel and tire size I can put on without a full
lift kit

Where can I find a replacement driver's seat for my 1995 k1500 z71?  It is a
tan leather with power.  The bracket holding it to the slide assembly has
broken.  I would just weld it back, but the leather is really worn out.
Any ideas?  I checked with junkyard dog, no dice there. And, ...

I Have a 99 S10 and I have a problem where about every month or so it will
randomly not start. When i try start it, all the lights flicker and it ticks

I am almost completely finished on the 4.3 to 5.7 swap in my 94 c1500.
Now it's a matter of tuning. It idles smoothly. It accelerates
smoothly and sounds great in neutral. But when driving it, it doesn't
want to accelerate at all. If I push the gas pedal slowly it does just

I have a 99 Express cargo van, 305 V-8, 112K miles.  This morning when I
was went out to go to work, it didn't start - dead battery was my
thought, so I had the neighbor jump me.  Let it idle for about 1/2 hour
after I got to work.  I turned it off, then back on, and it started no

i have a 97 s-10 4cyl 5 speed that sometimes will not start.  press the
clutch, turn the key all the dash lights come on and i can hear the fuel
pump engage, but nothing happens (not even a click).  it is like you
haven't pressed the clutch at all.  i have had the nuetral safety ...

1995 Suburban, Power windows.  Driver side window will 'stick' in the up
position.  Do not hear any noise from motor.  Sometimes will last all day
and come back to the truck the next day without doing anything and the
window will work fine.  I'm thinking it might be the rear track ...

I have an 88 G20 with the 700R4. Had a rebuild done about 15000 miles
ago with the vette servo and 9 clutch pack. No shift kit or anything
other than stock parts other than listed above. 1-2 2-3 shift is great,

I've gotten the swap done in my 94 C1500. But it's not running right.
I think I got the chip for an automatic instead of a 5 speed. So I
pulled the trouble codes out of it and got this:
32 EGR, figured that one would happen. there's no place on the new EGR
