2005 Trailblazer03 Feb 2006 20:50 GMT2
My 'blazer has a problem with the brakes. I can push the brake pedal all the
way to the floor during a braking application. The dealer first said there
was no problem, then admitted they were "mushy". They checked mine against
an '05 on the lot. My pedal went down further, and ...
Body swap03 Feb 2006 19:02 GMT3
I hope I'm not too generic here, but will the 89-98 1500 4wd body/box/etc.
swap over to the 4wd "square body" frames and still have the wheel wells,
mounting holes and the like line up? I have a good chassis under way on the
square body frame, but want to add a newer body style on ...

Top Posting03 Feb 2006 14:34 GMT28
What is it about top posting that some people get in a huff about? I don't
come across many people that have a problem with it, and I always top post,
and I am not the only one, but there aren't many. To me, its easier to read
someone's reply when it on top than to run all the way ...
shock mounting 89 K350003 Feb 2006 13:49 GMT1
While working on the exhaust manifolds of my truck, I took a look at
the suspension to see if I could figure out my rattle noise that I hear
from the front end when I hit bumps.  Besides noticing that all the tie
rod ends are shot, the aftermarket shocks and how they are mounted has

WMS03 Feb 2006 04:16 GMT5
Does anyone know what the hub to hub width difference is(or if there is any)
from a full size Chevy Van rear-end compared to a full size Chevy Truck
rear-end? I know there is a substantial difference in spring perch mounting
width.
"bogs" down over 5503 Feb 2006 03:38 GMT4
I have a 1988 chevy 454 engine.  It runs fine until I get to around 55 mph
and the four barrel opens up.  When I press the accelerator it sort of
"bogs" down like it won't go any faster.  I had carb. rebuilt, changed to
fuel pump and gas filter but it still does the same thing.  ...

Have changed the small drive gear but it did not correct all of the problem,
ran out of gear teeth.  It shows about 20 % high. Can I up the tooth number
in the internal gear to help correct the error??

1975 C10 350 2bbl missing when cold03 Feb 2006 00:58 GMT2
Missing on a couple of cylinders when engine is cold and choke is set.
Lasts for about 1 minute or so, then starts firing all cylinders and resumes
normal cold idle.  Continues to run properly after it's warm.  Problem
started the morning after the timing correction, but I've ...

1975 C10 1/2 ton 350 2bbl idle speed02 Feb 2006 21:32 GMT8
Recently acquired a 1975 Scottsdale, 350 2bbl.  I missed working on engines,
what can I say?
Know how to do most complicated things, always kind of "Shade-tree'd" simple
things, like idle speed.
