Does anyone know what the hub to hub width difference is(or if there is any) from a full size Chevy Van rear-end compared to a full size Chevy Truck rear-end? I know there is a substantial difference in spring perch mounting width.

| "bogs" down over 55 | 03 Feb 2006 03:38 GMT | 4 |
I have a 1988 chevy 454 engine. It runs fine until I get to around 55 mph and the four barrel opens up. When I press the accelerator it sort of "bogs" down like it won't go any faster. I had carb. rebuilt, changed to fuel pump and gas filter but it still does the same thing. ...

Recently acquired a 1975 Scottsdale, 350 2bbl. I missed working on engines, what can I say? Know how to do most complicated things, always kind of "Shade-tree'd" simple things, like idle speed.
