Just discovered I have the dreaded CPI leaking.  Searching around for the
best price, I ran across a site that sells just the regulator for this
engine.  Is it worth the time or just a stop gap measure?  Better yet, has
anybody went this route?

Had problems with my 2002 chevy diesel 2500HD. Started making a
rattling noise and then started spewing out white smoke and then LOW

Ok, my truck is a 92 K 1500 automatic, basic cloth bench seat, which
only folds forward to give access to storage area.  Regular cab. Bench
seat mounts to cab with two bolts on the left and two on the right
sides of the cab floor.

my 1989 1/2 ton, would not start after leaving the bank yesterday. It
turned over but wouldnt fire. I put a shot of gas in the throotle body and
it fired up and ran for about three seconds. so then I pulled the fuel line
off at the carb turned it over and as i expected no gas. 2 ...

Does any one know if this year and model has a access under the rear seat
or if i will have to drop the tank out of it to replace the fuel pump.

From the research that I have done, is appears that the cabin air filter
(also known as the "Interior Air Filter" was discontinued on the 2003

Hi-my truck wants to stall when I slow down to turn,  stop or when I am
accelerating from a stop.  Sometimes I can go for several days with no
problems, today it stalled 3 times after sitting for 3 hrs.  It starts
right up-most of the time.  Any suggestions?

My oil pressure gauge on my 03 silverado s*&# the bed a few days ago.  I
took the instrument cluster apart and found that the gauge is toast.  Does

Ok, got an 89 GMC K3500 extended cab(124K) with a 454, A/C and a th400.
Spent about 1500 so far reconditioning it, including a radiator and
all hoses, fan clutch, plus usual stuff, plugs wires... and some other
stuff that has nothing  to do with cooling.
