| How to adjust the torsion bars | 09 Feb 2006 02:27 GMT | 4 |
I would like to know how to adjust the torsion bars on my 2001 1500HD Silverado 4x4. All I would like to do is adjust them enough so that I can run BFG A/T tires in a P285/75R/16. I am currently running P265/75R/16 on it now and they barely clear the fender on the front.

I'm looking into buying a new Chev 2500 4x4 with either the Vortec 6000 or the 8100 gas engines. I was just looking for opinions about both engines and would like to hear anything people have to say about problems I may have with either. I'm mildly interested in the Duramax

For those that have helped before .. thanks. I got the timing back to 8BTDC, which was a settlement between the original 11BTDC and the book's 6BTDC. Seems to run down the road just fine now. Replaced the valve cover gaskets, spending a lot of time on straightening,

| 2003 Chevy S10 - Maint. Light | 08 Feb 2006 15:27 GMT | 4 |
Per subject line: there is less than 10K miles on this vehicle. It is well maintained. But recently an amber "Service Engine Soon" light on the dash display is constant. Seems to be running fine, all fluids and filters are newly refreshed.
