Knock Sensor...HELP!!01 May 2006 00:12 GMT4
Any help greately appreciated..I have a 1994 s10 pickup..4.3 v-6/5 spd
trans.The two wires connecting to the temp sensor and the knock sensor
were ripped off the sensors,breaking the knock sensors mushroom looking
cap.It looks like maybe the wires got tangeled around the steering ...

Was just wondering... I bought my 06 GMC crew cab, 4x4, low end model, SL I
beleive, and it only has a 4.8.  Seems like when reading online it noted all
crew cabs came with 5.3's. Even the DMV didn't have a 4.8 in their computer
for the crew cab.  Did I just get a low end model ...

I'm having a problem with my 92 chevy 350, it runs until warm then will just
die while running down the road or on idle.  I checked that it is getting
fuel and then replaced the ignition coil without any luck.  Any ideas?

I have a 1995 chevy 350 engine that WAS giving me about 17mpg.  Suddenly, it
drops to 10 mpg. I do the usual (plugs, wires, dist & cap, injector cleaner,
o2 sensor, etc), with NO change.  There is NO code stored in the ecm, no
check engine lite.  I gave up and took it to a GM dealer ...

I just purchased this truck and noticed that power to the cig ligther or aux
port doesn't turn off after you turn off the truck. I use a radar detector,
so should I turn it off each time I leave the truck for a extended period of
time?  I haven't so far and haven't had any issues ...

On an 82 suburban, I have a two piece driveshaft with the 3 u joints ,and
there's a  bearing with the bonded rubber is peeled almost all the way
around.  its shot. Its not a ujoint or cardan, its just a roller bearing
bonded in a sheetmetal pillow block housing. and a water ...

I have a 1989 1500 4x4. I need to change the trans. I don't want to mess
with the torsion bars. Can I remove the trans with the transfer case still
connected? Will everything clear and come out in one piece? Thanks in

The other day I go to start my 95 Suburban and it is dead as a hammer.
I do the customary "open the hood at stare blankly" for a  few minutes
and then get back in and -bam- it starts up like nothing is wrong.
Whilst it was sitting there running I measured the battery voltage at

It won't tighten.
What are my options in fixing this?

I have a 85 Silverado that the fuel gauge bounces. I was wondering if it is

I recently picked up this truck and need to replace the distributer cap
and plug wires which are missing. Could someone please help me with the
firing order and the numbering sequence of the cylinders? Thanks in

I have a 1992 GMC Yukon 2 door 4X4, with 120K miles.  I bought the
truck in Ca, but live above 6K feet in Colorado.  The Engine just
isn't putting out the power it should and when I go above 8K I can
barely keep it at 65 on hills.  I've changed the fuel filter, MAP
