Transmission slip09 Apr 2006 23:41 GMT7
I've got a 2004 Chevy Silverado, 30,000 miles, automatic tranny. Still
under warranty. I've noticed that occasionally, when the truck is
completely stopped, that when I give it the gas, I don't go. Engine
revs, and it takes a second or two for the tranny to kick in, and then

93 Suburban 1500 C has GT4/G80 which is 3.73 limited slip differential
axle.  Shop manual talks about several rear axles - 8.5", 9.5",
10.5".... Ring Gears and they all have different lubricant capacities.
Short of dropping the cover, how does one determine which one?

I recently bought a 1986 C10 with the Silverado package. The truck has
305/TH350. I didn't realize until after I bought it that it had a 2.76?

3100 lb camper. The motor and trans should be no problem except I am
need advice on suspension lift.08 Apr 2006 21:30 GMT1
Hi, I'm looking at installing a 2" suspension lift to my 90 k1500.
Looking at the block and torsion bar indexing key type kit.
Being that I've never touched a torsion bar setup before, I'm just a bit
apprehensive about doing this myself.
Transfer output shaft seal leak08 Apr 2006 21:23 GMT3
Our 1992 4X4 2500 has a leaky seal on the transfer output shaft
(according to the dealer). We're currently in Seattle but are heading
back to Detroit (where I can get the work done cheaper) pulling a small
5th wheel trailer. It's a very slow leak, maybe 2 or 3 drops in 24

Here's the cause of GM bankruptcy:
Geedy Massachesetts lawyers in bed with unions and liberal democrat

99 suburban steering07 Apr 2006 23:54 GMT2
I have a 99 Suburban K1500 4x4.  I have noticed lately that when taking a
slight turn to the right, it will occasional jerk to the right.  Kinda

getting worse too.  What would be causing this?
