I have a GMC Sierra Classic 1500. It is currently an automatic and I am wanting to convert it to a standard 4x4. I am unsure of the steps to do it or how expensive it will be or if it is even worth doing. I know there will be a lot of cutting and welding I just dont know how much.

My husband recently replaced the water pump and some sort of hose that's part aluminum and part rubber. Now when he goes to start the truck, it turns over and over and eventually starts. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

i have a 2001 chevy silverado and today while i was driving all of a sudden the truck stopped and i had to pull over i could push on the gas pedal but the truck wont move it revs up but it doesnt move it seems as if you are in park in every gear also the transmission fluid smells ...

My 82 S10 A/C compressor finally died after 300K. My question is this. I can get a used one from a junk yard for $75. They guarantee it for 90 days. I assume I would have to replace the dryer since it would most likely catch

My 99 yukon 5.7 has been consuming about 1 1/2 quarts per 3000 miles. Is this common? I have inspected the engine for leaks and haven't found any. There is no noise coming from the engine and the truck seems to run fine. Also, there is no smoke (blue) coming from the

I have a 99 Chevy Silverado with power windows. The windows has stuck in up position. When I activate the button to the down position I hear a clicking sound in the door panel. 2 questions, should I assume it to be the switch or the motor and how do I remove the door panel?

GM's business must be wonderful. I have not checked the stock price, but it must be at an all time high. The reason I believe this is that trying to get Chevrolet and GM Truck dealers to call back and follow-up in darn near next to impossible.
