Which are good shocks???22 Jun 2006 12:36 GMT9
I have a '99 Yukon 4x4 4 door short wheel base and need new shocks for it,
but am very unsure with what brand name to go with. The vehicle sees some
very rough road at times, but is not an extreme 4 wheeler. Any suggestions
or thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
Special Lubricant...22 Jun 2006 02:54 GMT1
Alright, I've had dealers tell me all kinds of stories, but when they tell
me I'm gonna get the special lubricant I panic.  Sure I've been shafted by
dealers once or twice, but when they come right out and tell me that...
That's just too much.

  I have a '96 1/2 ton 4WD Suburban. I think I have a rear
differential that is going bad. Here are the symptons. A low growl
noise and vibration occur when deaccelerating down hill in 2WD. With
gas applied or pulling up hill there is no noise. The weird thing is

By-passing rear AC 1997 Burb21 Jun 2006 04:37 GMT2
Well,
Thanks to new england road salt ( I'm assuming ) my AC is leaking out

the tune of $400+/-. The pipes to the rear are , for lack of better
2500HD vs 350021 Jun 2006 00:50 GMT10
I'd like to buy a D/A 3500 4x4 SRW extended cab shortbed -- but they
don't make one. Apparently not for '07 either. The longbed will not
reasonably fit in my garage -- and I ain't moving. So, I'm looking at a
2500HD. The axle capacity is 2300 lbs less - 6900 vs 9200 for the SRW,

fuel pump gurgling20 Jun 2006 16:24 GMT1
Ok, dropped the tank on my truck tonight to replace a rubber hose that
keeps getting pinched shut every so often.  So before I drop it, I take
7 gallons out(I had run it as low as I dared with a gm gas gauge).
Drop the tank, replace the line, put it back up.  Dump the 7 gallons
How do I bleed hydraulic clutch20 Jun 2006 04:52 GMT4
I replaced the clutch in a buddies truck last weekend and am having trouble
bleeding the air out of the hydraulic system. It is a master/slave cylinder
set up. The master cylinder was replaced about 3 months ago because it was
leaking. The slave is original. After several ...

low sulfer diesel19 Jun 2006 18:45 GMT1
What is the complete story about 'low sulfer diesel'?  Pump signs say
about current diesel fuel 'do not use this in 2007 or newer vehicles'.
Will the new 'low sulfer' diesel work in older vehicles?
