Hey ya'll, what is the proper way to set the tension on the wheel bearings
after they are replaced and repacked, my dad helped with the ones on my
min-van, and we had a discussion about it, about how tight the nut should
be, how ya'll do it???

Tonight I had the strangest problems with my 96 GMC Jimmy.
(Bear with me)
Driving on a very hot day (38*C, 101*F) we drove about 30 KM, I had to
slow down for a left turner, I gave the truck some juice, it started to

Well I've read over alot of posts about this code, but I thought I try
to put out another one:
I posted earlier about my truck making a whineing sound. It ended up
being a bad Intake manifold gasket. I had my shop do it, but a week

I've heard that the K&N air filters can create a problem in the air
intake sensor ??  Any truth to this rumor ?  I have one (~5K miles on
it), and am nearing 30K miles on my 04' 2500 Silverado.  I'd like to
use it if adviseable.   Is it possible the problem lies in the

I purchased and 89 s10 4.3 4x4 a few weeks ago with about 116,000
miles.  Thanks to this group ive gotten the 4wd working great again.
Got it passed inspection and my mechanic looked over it. Oil change,
new pads, shocks, a few light bulbs.

I have 1990 chevy suburban 350-  1500 -4x4  The service engine light comes
on  after 10 minutes of  freeway driving and stays on till the engine is
shut off. It only does this at high speeds. The light never comes on while
driving around town.

Hey I have a friend that wants to sell his truck and the backend is
completely gone, it was hit by a train!!! Anyways the front part with
the 4x4 looks okay and I have the same truck only 2 wheel drive is it
possible to take the good stuff from his truck and make mine 4x4? Is

I've got front drive axle seals (am I saying that right) are leaking on my
suburban.   I want to get it fixed but I don't have the $$ today.
Dealer makes it sound like it has to be fixed yesterday-- others tell me
that unless you engage the four wheel drive-- this is not an ...

I just purchaced an 89 s10 4.3L 4wd. It runs great but I was initially
having issues with the 4wd. From what ive been researching it was 2
separate problems.

I used the zerex super flush to clean my radiator.It did a good job
alright,by the time I got to my Dr's appointment(4miles)it was leaking
from the bottom pretty good,good thing I carried a gal.jug of water.It
cleaned all the old stop leak out that someone put in before I got it.So

I recently put Flowtech headers on my 81 454 and I only want to buy one set
of wires right now, any suggestions? I hear that Taylors are good for this
application. I have always been an Accel fan.
