When hooking up a trans. cooler,is it better to connect it in
conjunction with existing radiator cooler,or just run it straight from
trans.?If engine runs warmer than it should,does this shorten
trans.life?If hooked up straight to external cooler,firmer shifts in

I have an 03 S10. I do my own chassis lube and oil changes. When I try to
lube the lower ball joints, the zerk fiting sits inside a little cutout
"window". The zerk is right up against one side of the little "window"  just
exposing the top half and I am not able to get the grease ...

Well, I gave the radiator a good soak with white vinegar.  It seems to
have helped quite a bit.  The only real test will be getting it out in
some serious traffic or on the interstate.

My 97 Sub. K1500 has a break problem. They don't seem to have much grab
