I noticed my truck was smoking yesterday but water was dripping out of tail pipe and then I realized it was mostly steam and not smoke coming out of tail pipe. Guy at work said I need a new head gasket. Nothing at all in the manual

I've just added a hitch to my 2005 Chevy Express Van. For the life of me, I can't find where to plug in the hitch's wiring harness. The generic wiring direction (all of one sentence) tell me to look under the rear of the vehicle on either side, but there are no wires there.

Symptoms are as follows: When first started it runs fine for a few seconds then just dies like the switch was turned off. Cranks back up pretty easy again but idles high (1500RPM) for a bit then comes down and may idle fine for ever

I recently found myself checking out a used Sierra pickup with a stepside bed. I've been thinking about getting a pickup, and in thinking about this particular truck, I'm reminded of something I've never quite been able to figure out.

The check engine light came on in my 97 Geo Prizm. The code was P0141 (O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2)) and the Chilton manual said that that was the post-convertor O2 sensor. It had a little diagnostic test I could try and so I tried that out and according to the test it was

my k1500 everytime i shut it down it sounds like it is over heating,but it never goes over 180 degrees. i've change the thermostat,and radiater cap.any ideas.

I have an '86 GMC 1/2 ton pick-up that now has a 5.7L 350 V8 in it. The emissions control label on the front of the engine compartment is for the original engine (a 4.3L V6) and says I should set the fast idle speed to 2200 RPM and the idle speed to 500 RPM. Does anyone have an
