Hello, i have a problem with my 99 z71. It has recently began making a

2007 ?04 Aug 2006 04:19 GMT8
Has anyone heard when the 2007 Silverado pickups will come out?  I was
looking at the 2006s on the lot and the salesman said there were good
rebates on the 2006s because the 2007s were coming out.  Like the dumb
a.s I am, I didn't ask when. Any one see any pictures of them?

need to know which alternator I have (100 amp, 105 amp, or 130 amp), how can
I find this info? The alternator doesn't have any markings visible while

'98 Burb/4.7 Vortec: How To Read The Ammeter?03 Aug 2006 16:03 GMT6
Just had the alternator replaced.
My sense is that the new one isn't charging enough - backed up by an occasional
weak horn,  a couple of sluggish starts, and a battery that reads about 12.8
volts instead of the 12.9 it was the last time I charged it.

Though I've been in this group for years, I have NO 4x4 experience and need some
guidance..

98 gmc Z71 running bad03 Aug 2006 13:15 GMT1
I have a 98 GMC Z71 pickup that has 115,000 miles on it and recently in
the past couple of months has been running very bad. I don't know what
it is exactly doing but it acts like it is running out of gas when
driving normal down the road. When I say normal I mean driving softly

P0141 in a 97 Geo Prizm02 Aug 2006 15:22 GMT1
The check engine light just came on in my 97 Geo Prizm and the code
says P0141. From doing a little googling it sounds like it may not be a
faulty O2 sensor, but could just be bad wiring or another similar
problem. I haven't been able to find anything about what I should check
1999 Tahoe Backfires02 Aug 2006 13:40 GMT1
My 1999 Tahoe, 2WD, Auto tranny, sometimes backfires through the intake
when starting up after the engine has been warmed up. No check engine
light on the dash as a result.  Seems to happen after the engine has been
shut down for a few minutes and then restarted.  I'm stumped, so's ...
1972 C20 differential change-out02 Aug 2006 13:14 GMT1
I want to change out the differential (not just the gears) to a late model
3.73 ratio.  I want to stay away from the axle sticking out from the wheel
5 inches, and keep the 8 lugs. I would also like to have disc brakes with
it.
M4Me or M4Mc?01 Aug 2006 22:14 GMT1
Me again.
Having resolved many of the issues discussed in previous posts (many thanks
to the helpful postees of ATC), it has come to pass that my carb is giving
me trouble.
Electrical Issues01 Aug 2006 15:18 GMT1
My husband had to jump start our '98 Blazer and ever since it has been
acting weird. The dummy security light comes on often and also the airbag
light. Also the back window clicks like when you push the button to open
the door in the back. Now the cd player doesn't recognise cd's ...
