My father owns an '84 GMC 1500 Sierra Classic. It turns over but doesn't seem to be firing (it's getting fuel). He wants to test the ignition coil but isn't sure how to go about it. What does he need to to do?

3 years old.92,000 miles ..I have it in the shop every couple of weeks...always something...my last gmc, a 96 never had an issue....should i get a new 06 with the bigger diesel engine and hold my breath or try a Ford?? I only have 8000 miles of warranty left on the engine...

Was having some brake issues over the weekend. Pulled the rear drums(huge) off and found the wheel cylinder to be leaking. I also noticed that one of the pins that goes into the end of the cylinder was missing. These are the pins that push out of the cylinder. After

I have an 1986 Astor Panel van, and just the other nite, ALL of the parking and dash lites went out on me. I have checked all the fuses, even pulled the switch to see if any problems there, and still NOTHING. Can anyone help!?

I recently replaced the engine in a 95 tahoe with a similar motor, however i cant get the transmission and the engine to line up, its automatic and its so close but there is still a gap (probably 1/4 inch) The bolts that go from tranny to engine can engage about a 1/4 turn,

I need to know how take the trans mission off of my truck.The transmission went out after getting my engine back to full pwer.it is easier for me to take to the tranny and get it rebuild.I just need to know how to do it .

2000 Chevy Blazer battey light came on today and won't go out. Charge indicator is sitting at nogtch halfway between 9 and 14, roughly 11.5 and holding. Checked all fuses and relays and cleaned corrosion of positive post. Cables appear good otherwise and disconnecting battery

1994 chevy 1500 4.3 v-6. wiper motor with/ delay will not operate at times. this unit makes a buzzing sound at delay and low, makes no sound on high. at one time i could shake wires to motor and it would operate. now will only buzz as above.
