what's the opinion on the Avalanche pickup truck.
I understand that it doubles as a SUV & pickup truck.

whenever I turn on the headlights, all the gauges, especially the oil
gauge, start fluttering like crazy.  The previous owner drove it like
this for 100K miles or so, but I would like to fix the problem.  Any
suggestions?  Thanks.

I've got a 98 S10.  It's an odd duck as it's a 4x4 with a 7.6 3.08
rear.  And it's open.  I'm not doing another winter with an open diff.
I'm not going to weld the spider gears or get a spool, because I need

Was there a recall or only TSB about the gas gauges on the Jimmy.
I bought this 01 SLE used in May 04 with 33,000 miles on it and now has
52,500.
The gas gauge is down at a 1/4 tank when ever it feels like it should be

Our 1999 Chevy Blazer needs a new water pump.  I need assistance in removing
the fan from the pump because they appear to be pressed together.
The Service Manual recommends a  J 41240 tool to remove the fan clutch.
Can anyone provide some directions as to how this is done?

Lower speeds work fine.
Can the problem be with the resistor pack if hi speed works
