Are Chevy trucks using body panels that are galvanized, for better rust protection? Or do they just start rusting through once cracks or dents appear on the paint? Any idea? thanks

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra SLE 4wd With locking rear diff. I am replacing the gear oil in the rear differential. Does anyone know the correct amount of gear oil to add. The chiltons manual says to add to within 5/8" to 1 5/8" from the bottom of the fill plug. That is fine,

This question has probably been answered by now, but about a year ago someone asked if there was a way to play the radio in a 2002 chevy extended cab with all the doors open & without the door dinger ding'n, well at that time the answer he got was 'no'.
