Are Chevy trucks using body panels that are galvanized, for better
rust protection? Or do they just start rusting through once cracks or
dents appear on the paint? Any idea?

Is there a way to disable the daytime running lights on a 2002 GMC/Chevy
truck? I own a security agency and want to be able to allow my officers the
option to not have headlights running when the car is running.

Ian, I used to work at a Chevy dealer in Phoenix but have since
semi-retired. I have a question I hope you can help with. The small
AC-Delco dist that I work for now just bought a '07 Colorado last week for

Are there any cautions on use?   Ignition off/Engine off, engine on... Ignition

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra SLE 4wd With locking rear diff.  I am
replacing the gear oil in the rear differential.  Does anyone know the
correct amount of gear oil to add.  The chiltons manual says to add to
within 5/8" to 1 5/8"  from the bottom of the fill plug.  That is fine,

This question has probably been answered by now, but about a year ago
someone asked if there was a way to play the radio in a 2002 chevy
extended cab with all the doors open & without the door dinger ding'n,
well at that time the answer he got was 'no'.
