Service Engine light has come on several times, each time I get a P4044(I

working on a 93 chevy pu 350 i dont get the power out of the ecm when key
is turned on ot turned to start i went to the back of the ecm and when i
put power to the wire the relay kicks in and so does the fuel pump, but do
not get any thing out of ecm so i put in a reman ecm same ...

I am looking to replace the rear pinion seal on my 98 Silverado but
have never done so. The Haynes manual I have is a little vague on the

Well it happened...Some neighborhood lackey learned how easy it was to
crack open the steering column on the older Chevys and steal them.
Lucky for me, the truck had sat so long, the battery was dead, and
they could not turn the SOB over...complete amateur hour...

Anybody heard of a vehicle that will automatically lock itself after about
twenty seconds.  Nice feature except when you leave your keys inside.  What
might be causing this problem.  I lubed everything in sight but it seems
persistant and is always around twenty seconds.

I've got a '99 Silverado 1500 (NBS) with a 4.3L V6.  I just bought
a 5.3L out of a '00 Silverado, along with motor mounts and frame
mounts, and have run into a problem with the mounts.  The passenger
side frame mount swaps out fine and appears to line up where I expect

Symptoms first...
+4.3 tbi starts fine when cold. When new it started faster than you could
let off the key, takes about two seconds now...even if I wait a second for

I replaced the heads on a 350cid chevy 4 barrel Heavy Head. This was
originally a blue crate motor. It is installed in a '67 4x4 1/2 ton
shortbed. I used Fel-Pro Metal faced gaskets with a very light coat of
copper sealer as Fel-Pro suggested. I torqued all heads to 65 pounds. I

arm & idler arm due to ware. Our local mechanic wants $550 to do the
job but I'm thinking about taking the project on myself. I have a

i have an 87 s10 blazer 4x4, i was changed the ring gear a while back,
today i removed the passenger axle, and went to put ot back in, and it
wont slide in all the way...any help? the c lock is out...i dont know.
