Anyone know of known issues w/ the '02 2500HD 2WD rear axle seals? My Dad is getting ready to have a third seal replaced in 91K miles before the warranty expires. The first went around 50K miles, the second around 62K miles and now the third! I had one go on my first '02 2500HD ...

I have a 96 silverado I am going to replace the oil filter housing seal in. My question is does the oil cooler lines that screw into the housing have some sort of seal in them also? Is it just a regular o ring?

We have a 1995 Chevy K2500 that my daughter has been driving. Yesterday it began have an idle problem. It started fine and idled OK, but when she put it into gear, it idled roughly and died. I looked at it today and sometimes it idles OK in P or N, but sometimes it's rough.

I have a 93 chevy silverado that I have had the fuel pump replaced ever since then the engine lupes for the first 10 seconds after starting it. Then it goes back to normal.. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have a 2000 GMC sierra with a 6" lift kit. I hit a big pothole and had to replace the passenger front shocks and upper shock hoop. My real problem is a severe vibration between 40 and 50 mph and my steering wheel is cocked to the right. Also sharp turns at low speeds

I am attempting to replace this. Do I have to remove the alternator or power steering/air conditioner pump brakets or can I just take the 4 water pump bolts out and remove? Is this an easy repair?

Even thought the tank and pump are new.. I wanna make sure the engine is getting the propper flow.. Is there a gauge I can put in between the rubber coming off the tank ?... thanx

Firstly, I work with computers and not computers on trucks - I am not an automotive mechanic or have ever claimed to be mechanically inclined. The check engine light is on steady. We have replaced the gas cap and changed the fuel in the tank with new high grade fuel.
