Anyone out there replaced a 305 with a 350. I know that mechanically
they will interchange, but what other considerations might I need to
take into account.

i have a1985 1ton chevy pickup. i put a 700r in. it works great but no
overdrive. my question is Is there a certain rpm that it needs to shift
into o/d? i did not hookup the wires that go to trannydoes it need 12v
to lockup? the truck didnot have the wire to plug into the tranny.

was running great.... 36K miles - tune up.. replaced plugs, rotor
botton and cap. now runs but still a dog.. was great 6 months ago..
smells of unburnt fuel... changing the above- would it change the
timing ?  should I also change plug wires?

I get a chugging and surging when ever my rpms fall below 1200 or so. This
is mostly in 3rd gear (I have a 5 speed). It acts like the clutch was

My brakes are very touchy and lock the wheels when cold or wet or even

The ignition key has locked up in my 1997 Chevy S 10 5 speed manual

for sometime now my windshield wipers have been acting funny, sometimes they
work and most times they don't, most of the time is all I have is full on
High speed wipers, nothing in between, then sometimes it all works like its

As I was driving home for lunch I noticed that my oil pressure was
fluctuating wildly between 15 and 45 psi. I've been hearing sounds

I have 98 silverado that skips when you give it a little gas..Run great

My headliner material is seperating from the foam backing on my 95 Tahoe.
What would you recomend for a repair glue. I tried rubber cement but it fell
apart after 6 months.

Motor ran awesome or so I was told before it was puled.. I can't get the
damn thing to stop the slight rough idle.. It runs fine and smooth then gets
a slight miss to it.. I've changed every sensor, tried timing it and still

I have a 1991 S10 Blazer and the temp gauge does'nt work.I cannot find
a sensor at a parts store or dealer that has the right connection for
the unit .The unit that they say is the unit will no way hook up.The
sending unit is on the left side of the engine as you look at it ,

My odometer works but the trip meter does not. Replaced instrumentation
cluster for other reasons, trip meter still does not work but the
odometer does. Any suggestion as to what the problem could be?
