1999 gmc sierra stalling21 Dec 2006 08:09 GMT1
I have a 1999 GMC Sierra and lately have been having a problem with it
stalling.   At first I thought it to be the fuel pump so after
spending a few $$$ had it replaced.  Worked fine for about a week but
truck still stalls.

I am setting my timing (with the wire unplugged) @ 0 when in park idling.

Died and will not start 91 c2500 silverodo21 Dec 2006 03:19 GMT2
I have a 91 chevy c2500 it had a miss in it yesterday and today i was on the
highway and it just died and would not start back up. Took off the carb
cover to make sure injctors were firing into throttle body, that was a ok.
pulled the ecm fuse to reset it, to no avail.
TBI question...20 Dec 2006 23:52 GMT6
Do the injectors on the throttle body fire simultaneously as one unit
or separately?  Seems like an awful lot of work for each to fire 4
times for each rotation of the crank.

Side Post Battery Connector Fell Off?20 Dec 2006 23:00 GMT7
I'm not too familiar with side-post batteries...so anyway, here's my issue.
I have a Chevy Blazer (1998) and when I went out today to start it, I got
the quick tap-tap-tap noise that told me something was going on with my
battery. I've had problems with the positive terminal ...

Hey folks... hoping for a few second opinions here.  Thanks in advance.
I've got a '97 GMC Sierra (hate how they call them, that now) K 1500.
It's got 126000 miles.  I bought it with 110,000 on it about a year
ago.  Great truck, very comfortable and smooth on the freeway.  Decent
96 chevy daytime running lights20 Dec 2006 19:43 GMT3
I have a 96 chevy truck and the daytime running lights stopped workign
a long time ago. What do I need to fix this? When I am driving with the
lights off, a little headlight icon appears on the dash and goes off
when I  turn the lights on. This was my dads truck but is now mine.
2006 driver information center20 Dec 2006 15:34 GMT7
Can someone explain to me what the "driver information
center" is on my 2006 Silverado?
I could have sworn my window sticker said "flex fuel" when
I bought this truck, and I saw this 85% ethanol at the pump
Problem solvers needed...Chevy Astro electric/tranny20 Dec 2006 13:53 GMT3
This is a 2001 Chevy Astro Passenger Van with about 60,000 miles on it.
First, the rear dutch door needed two or three presses of the button on
the door before it would unlatch. Then, it quit opening all together.
You'd hear a click, but it just wouldn't open. Now, there's no click.

We noticed what i can only describe as sludge in our overflow tank and on
radiator cap on 1999 chevy venture.  the "sludge" is brown in color and
clumpy.  had the coolant system flushed around 120,000 miles.  Now at a
little over 130,000 miles, "sludge" is back.  im kinda ...

I have a 1989 chevrolet k1500 pickup.  Recently, something odd has been
occuring with my headlights.  While driving sometimes, they just
automatically shut off.  When i hit the bright/dimmer switch, they will
turn back on.  Any idea what could be causing this?
Tires Steering... etc19 Dec 2006 00:36 GMT6
Ok, here we go again.  2004 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab.
At a couple hundred miles the truck was bouncing all over the place because
"The Continental tires on the truck were out of round."  Supposedly they
replace all four.  I know I had to take the truck in twice.
2000 S10 Blazer tire pressure.19 Dec 2006 00:15 GMT6
I just bought a 2000 Blazer 4x4 4dr. The sticker in the door is missing, so
I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could look and see what
it's suppose to be. I've googled but couldn't find anything. The tire size
is P235-70R15
Proof of speed govener on 2001 Suburban18 Dec 2006 21:23 GMT9
I have a 2001 Suburban, it has a speed govener on it that hits at 96
mph.  My son got a ticket and the cop said that he was going in excess
of 100mph.  Since I know it will not go that fast the judge said to
bring in proof that it has this devise on it.  I have looked through
