Trying to track down leak in '97 Blazer LS31 Jan 2007 22:38 GMT15
It figures that something like this would wait for the cold weather to
arrive. I just noticed a leak on the driver's side of the vehicle near the
left side of the transmission.
At first, I thought that it was transmission fluid and suspected the cooling
95 chevy k2500 4x431 Jan 2007 18:22 GMT4
We had a lot of snow last night and there was no way I was getting out of my
drive with my car so I figured I would take the truck. There was probably
about 17 inches of snow in the drive so I put the truck in 4 wheel high and
tried to back out. It stayed in 4 wheel high alright, ...
headlights work, running lights don't31 Jan 2007 16:26 GMT2
Hey guys, hopefully someone has seen this problem before.  I've got a
1996 Yukon, and although the headlights work, the turn signals work,
brake lights work, 4-ways work...  the running lights and dash lights
do not.
speedometer/gas meter/oil gague not working31 Jan 2007 04:02 GMT3
My truck (2001 Silverado) was broken into and had the stereo ripped
out. They also seemed to have cut the red and black wires leading to
the power supply (I'm guessing). Now my speedometer, oil gague, gas
meter, etc. aren't coming on. I have no idea what it could be. Please
'98 Jimmy 4x4 Question31 Jan 2007 03:43 GMT2
'98 Jimmy, 4.3, 61K miles, auto trans.  Tonite when shifting into
4-hi, the truck sort of "slid into gear" when I stepped on the gas.
After that, the truck didn't want to shift out of 1st.  Same with
4-lo.  The truck moves in and out of all modes with no problems, and
Good parts store for Chevy '5631 Jan 2007 03:03 GMT1
Can you recommend good US webstores selling vintage Chevy body- and
engine parts for around '56 models.  I'm 'renewing' a '56 Bel Air ;-)
Have asked danchuk but they are out of stock for some vital parts I need...
Thanks for any tips, suggestions and comments, also for used parts
4l80e problem31 Jan 2007 02:50 GMT4
I was told my 3500 cube van 1998 350 vortec with 4l80E tranny was fuc***
as it wouldn't engage 3rd or 4th gear. SO I buy a used one that I know
worked before I installed it and guess what.. Same thing. SO either the
tranny shop screwed me with a false conclusion or I screwed this ...
1977 C10 250 6cyl to 350 8cyl engine swap31 Jan 2007 02:43 GMT3
okI have a 1977 C10 chevy truck with a 250 inline 6.  I want to swap
out to a 350 crate motor.  My question is, will the motor mounts
work?  if not, are the mounts for the 350 bolt on? or do I have to do
some cutting/welding?  Also, I believe it has a 350TH 3 speed tranny,
intermittent driveline vibration in '96 K1500 Suburban31 Jan 2007 00:26 GMT5
Recently, I've noticed what feels and sounds like driving over finely
grooved pavement.  It's intermittent, and for a couple of weeks, I thought
it was simply small perpendicular pavement grooves like one occasionally
sees on major highways.
chevy S10 dies when putting it in Drive.30 Jan 2007 22:46 GMT2
I have a 94 S10 Blazer that dies when you put it in drive or at idle
when giving it gas. Most of the time it idles ok until you press on
the gas it bogs down and dies or wants to die. When you let go of the
pedal it idles ok.
1997 Blazer electrical problems30 Jan 2007 15:34 GMT4
Does anyone have any electrical problems with their Blazer?   I have a
97 Blazer with a lot of electrical  problems.  We had to remove a fuse
because the doors kept locking and unlocking while we were driving the
vehicle.  We also have a problem with the interior lights flashing
NP208 to NP205 swap...30 Jan 2007 01:32 GMT12
What are the differences in size between these two cases, assuming they
both came out of a Chevy truck (not a F.O.R.D. or other version...)???
I'm just curious whether I'd need any adapters or a longer/shorter
driveshaft or anything.  It'll be bolting on the back of a 700R4.
00 Chevy S10 no start, no nothing!30 Jan 2007 00:25 GMT5

Throttle popping from one cylinder why do the gods mock me so?29 Jan 2007 14:43 GMT3
Why do the truck gods mock me so? I've got a 93 chevy 1500 350 5.7 tbi.
I got a  used engine, not rebuilt but used. This is the third engine
the truck has had. Wife has a lead foot, but more on that later.
Started the engine, sounded strong, oil pressure jumped up to 30 psi as
first timer (almost)29 Jan 2007 04:04 GMT39
I just bought my first GMC and my first GM product in 35 years.  After an
exhaustive search, we purchased a 2004 GMC C-3500 dually 2wd with the mighty
Vortec 8100.  BUT the question I have after all this research is that I
still don't understand the difference in the "C" and the ...
