I've got a 2000 GMC sierra 1/2 ton with a 6" lift on it. I am noticing some knocking noises when making slow tight turns. I got the truck up in the air and noticed the torsion bars are not tight in the keys(the hex on the bars appear worn and look they are turning slightly in the

| '00 GMC Sierra rear axle | 26 Jan 2007 00:14 GMT | 7 |
For whatever reason my passenger rear wheel is set back about 3" further than my driver side. I have once loosened the U-bolts and hammered everything back in line and re-tightened and everything was perfect for about a day than it slid back again. So I am dog-tracking

My wipers and washer stopped working and turning the switch only results in a buzzing noise. Used a multimeter to determine that both the wiper motor and the pulse board module are shot. The turn signal lever had a lot of play in it due to age and wear, and sometimes after using ...

Hello I have a 98-Silverado with a 5.7 l with 210000 k that is my daily driver and I use it to pull a R.V. trailer only a few times a year. The truck is in really good shape and was wondering if it would be worth rebuilding the engine or maybe buying a new one. I know rebuilding is

I bought a 2003 Silverado LT 1500HD Crewcab and Quadra-steer a little over a year ago. It's an awesome truck to drive. Last week the computer tells me to "service the 4 wheel steer". Does this mean there is a problem with it or is this a "bring it to the dealer so we can

It would seem that there must be a trick or an easy way to replace both the engine coolant temp sensor and the oil pressure sender on my 95 Jimmy. My handy Haynes tell me to remove the bolts and take out the sensor. The problem is that the EGR, coolant hoses, tb, and intake ...

Hi all! I bought an engine last week at a race auction. It is a shortblock 350 chevy, with flattop .080 sealed power pistons. This is freshly put together, so the piston tops are new, I can see the .080 stamped on them. Normally, I have heard of overboring these engines .030
