GMC Sierra torsion bars26 Jan 2007 01:10 GMT4
I've got a 2000 GMC sierra 1/2 ton with a 6" lift on it.  I am noticing
some knocking noises when making slow tight turns.  I got the truck up
in the air and noticed the torsion bars are not tight in the keys(the
hex on the bars appear worn and look they are turning slightly in the

Good Day All,
    I purchased a 2003 Silverado 1500HD Crewcab with the Quadra-Steer
option last year. I want to know if there are any readers that have
the quada-steer option on their truck. If so, I'm looking for any
'00 GMC Sierra rear axle26 Jan 2007 00:14 GMT7
For whatever reason my passenger rear wheel is set back about 3"
further than my driver side.  I have once loosened the U-bolts and
hammered everything back in line and re-tightened and everything was
perfect for about a day than it slid back again.  So I am dog-tracking
1988 S10 no wipers.....everything worn out25 Jan 2007 19:11 GMT1
My wipers and washer stopped working and turning the switch only results in
a buzzing noise.  Used a multimeter to determine that both the wiper motor
and the pulse board module are shot.  The turn signal lever had a lot of
play in it due to age and wear, and sometimes after using ...

Hi! I have a 1990 s-10 with a bad oil pressure gage. I just have the
regular anolog instrument panel. My friend has an intrument panel from
a 1993 Blazer that is digital. Would I be able to just replace mine
with the digital or what would be involved?
Throttle popping from one cylinder why do the gods mock me so?25 Jan 2007 04:35 GMT7
Why do the truck gods mock me so? I've got a 93 chevy 1500 350 5.7 tbi.
I got a  used engine, not rebuilt but used. This is the third engine
the truck has had. Wife has a lead foot, but more on that later.
Started the engine, sounded strong, oil pressure jumped up to 30 psi as

Rebuild or Not To Rebuild24 Jan 2007 05:45 GMT3
Hello I have a 98-Silverado with a 5.7 l with 210000 k that is my daily
driver and I use it to pull a R.V. trailer only a few times a year. The
truck is in really good shape and was wondering  if it would be worth
rebuilding the engine or maybe buying a new one. I know rebuilding is
Quadra-Steer24 Jan 2007 01:41 GMT1
I bought a 2003 Silverado LT 1500HD Crewcab and Quadra-steer a little
over a year ago. It's an awesome truck to drive. Last week the
computer tells me to "service the 4 wheel steer". Does this mean there
is a problem with it or is this a "bring it to the dealer so we can

Tricks for changing these sensors?? ECT and oil press sender W    series 4.324 Jan 2007 01:22 GMT4
It would seem that there must be a trick or an easy way to replace both the
engine coolant temp sensor and the oil pressure sender on my 95 Jimmy.  My
handy Haynes tell me to remove the bolts and take out the sensor.  The
problem is that the EGR, coolant hoses, tb, and intake ...

Hi all! I bought an engine last week at a race auction. It is a
shortblock 350 chevy, with flattop .080 sealed power pistons. This is
freshly put together, so the piston tops are new, I can see the .080
stamped on them. Normally, I have heard of overboring these engines .030
