CFMI?? fuel pressure 'holding' question23 Jan 2007 02:57 GMT1
I tested the fuel pressure at the rail/schrader test port on my 95 Jimmy (W
series 4.3) and it was at 60psi with the key on engine off.  I assume with
60lbs from the primed pump that there should be no need to swap the fuel
filter out.

Had a problem with our '00 Silverado 4x4 with 5.3 engine, over 110,000

and I only have a makeshift door on the driver's side. It gets started and

Okay, the truck was running fine and I hit a huge pothole, and the next
time I turned the truck off...it wouldn't start again, dead silience,
no clicking, cranking, etc.  I checked the battery - 12.5 Volts with
the truck off.  I tested the starter, by shorting the posts as it says
New Diesel Fuel and MPG20 Jan 2007 23:11 GMT25
Has anyone else out there noticed an increase in their average mileage since
the introduction of the new ultra-low sulfer diesel fuel?
I track my mileage religiously and commute with mixed driving conditions
almost daily.  With the old fuel (500ppm sulfer) I was getting a constant ...

the motors work, but seat will only go about halfway up.  Local

Seems my mechanic says that plastic has a problem with heat. Thermal
breakdown he calls it.
