My mechanic has checked my tires and replaced valve stems, yet over a months time my tires will go down an average of 7 pounds. My mechanic has not suggested this, but a friend said that bad/old rims alone can make air loss. True? They are the original rims, on a 2000 Blazer. ...

I went to a shop that is general repairs, recommended by Dad. I will check out a radiator shop. The only other step I was going to try was JB Weld.

...just replaced the factory egr gasket with the new gasket with the screen built into it. Now, after I run the truck just about 6 1/2 miles the "service engine soon" light comes on. Pull over turn it off and restart...light out. Drive the same amount of miles..SES light

My Olds Bravada is getting really poor gas mileage around town all of a sudden. Like 13.8 mpg which is REALLY bad. I looked at the air filter and it looks OK although it hasn't been changed in a while. Also, the check engine light isn't coming on.

I have a 1990 Chevy Blazer, 5.7 (350) that just had the rear wheel and axle rod come off while driving down the road. luckily was only going about 15 mph. Trying to find a replacement axel is a royal pain in Alaska. Anyone have suggestions of a replacement rearend, or rebuild.
