1985 Chev 4x4 melting ground wire ?19 Jan 2007 12:42 GMT4
Put a stereo in my truck, wired properly and now for some reason after the
truck runs for a few minutes (less than 2) the truck dies and the ground
wire connected to the frame and the neg post on batt melts. I checked my
connections on the fuse panel for the stereo and all is ...
rims making tires lose air?19 Jan 2007 11:38 GMT20
My mechanic has checked my tires and replaced valve stems, yet over a months
time my tires will go down an average of 7 pounds.  My mechanic has not
suggested this, but a friend said that bad/old rims alone can make air loss.
True?   They are the original rims, on a 2000 Blazer.  ...

I went to a shop that is general repairs,
recommended by Dad.
I will check out a radiator shop.
The only other step I was going to try was JB Weld.

2002 Bravada - All of a sudden - poor gas mileage.18 Jan 2007 19:49 GMT3
My Olds Bravada is getting really poor gas mileage around town all of a
sudden.  Like 13.8 mpg which is REALLY bad.  I looked at the air filter and
it looks OK although it hasn't been changed in a while.  Also, the check
engine light isn't coming on.

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE COMPLETE WIRING DIAG. FOR 1989 1500 PICKUP-35018 Jan 2007 01:58 GMT2
I had a friend hurridely put in a used tranny for me. He never hooked
up the linkage and I figured I'd eventually get to it. Well before I
did the wires that run down to the axle from the harness burned up.They
were in the tube that runs between the starter and the exhaust. The
Blazer suspension question...Too much bounce and body roll17 Jan 2007 19:58 GMT4
My wife has a 2001 Chevy Blazer LT with about 75k miles on the engine.
My question revolves around the suspension. You tend to feel what I am
talking about at highway speeds. If there is a dip in the road, I tend
to get a lot more body roll or sway and I am not sure if this is a

I have a 1990 Chevy Blazer, 5.7 (350) that just had the rear wheel and
axle rod come off while driving down the road. luckily was only going
about 15 mph. Trying to find a replacement axel is a royal pain in
Alaska. Anyone have suggestions of a replacement rearend, or rebuild.

I have a 2004 S-10 Pick-up and it has a rattle whos source I can not

It sounds like its is originating in either the front passenger door or

NO, Not Chevy!17 Jan 2007 02:28 GMT5
Did I just see a Chevy truck commercial and it had those stupid low
profile tires?  Besides looking stupid, you can feel every bug you run
over.  What's next...  Neon lights or the spinner wheel covers?
