I believe my motor is a 350, though I know it has the four barrel! I need to

Hey Doc (or anyone with knowledge of this) I need to reaplce the cats
on my truck (99 Silvy 5.3l) and have heard from a few sources that
there is an issue with using aftermarket "hi flo" cats on some of the
newer trucks.

The backup lights on my '06 Silverado just don't give enough light.  Has
anyone changed the lamps to a higher wattage? Any other suggestions?  I do
not want to add auxiliary backup lights to the truck.

I installed new shoes  and drums. There is a 3/4" gap between the back
of the drum and the backing plate. When you look into the gap, about
3/4" of the shoe is outside of the drum. Do I have the wrong drums?
