I have a 83 chevy truck that is a long bed. I want to have a section cut out of the frame right behind the cab for the length of a short bed, then weld and cup frame back together. Who does this kind of work and how much would it cost? I will be able to fix the brake lines and

I just got an 02 trailblazer and when driving in the wind there seems to be a lot of wind noise coming from the top of front doors. When the doors are open all the way it looks like the welds are loose on the firewall pillar.

Today I was backing out of a snowbank in 4wd and my front hubs were making a loud clickity-clack sound like something was gonna break. It's an '86 K20 with manual hubs. Could it be the front axle u joints?

My father purchased a 93, 1500 series from a friend. His friend had it special ordered from the factory with a 350 and a 5 speed manual trans. Supposedly, he had them take the SS version with the 454 and a 5 speed, and slap in a 350 instead. if that helps to

I have a 1990 chev 4x4 the actuator wire was unplugged, the guy I bought the truck from said it was broken... .I plugged it back in to try it but the 4wd does not seem to be engaging.. The light in the shifter to say if it is in 4wd is not coming on either. I would like to test ...

Ok, I hope my '93 Suburban works out well for me. I'm going to do a bit of work on the front end before I take it in to get it aligned. The steering seems to have a bit of play in it. Simple question, I hope, it's just something I've never addressed before.
