I own a 2004 Silverado 2500HD crew cab with the stock Delco AM/FM/CD radio.
Several of the light bulbs that illuminate the knobs and buttons on the
radio have gone out and I want to replace them.
Are they user-replaceable or built into the radio and unreachable short of

Seems like my '98 'burb K1500 has better traction in soft sand
when it's in the low range than high.
In the context of snow/ice this seems counter-intuitive to me.
Low range ==> more torque....  More torque ==> greater chance of

Can some one tell me what the symptoms of an ABS pump going out are? My 95'
k2500 is acting up. Sometimes when I'm at a slow speed like 10-20 mph and I
apply the brake, I hear the pump and feel it in the pedal. I just put new
pads/shoes on it about 2 months ago. Any suggestions ...

I never really got as good answer on this so I'll try one more time.. I
erally don't like the 700R4 , I have a TH350 here that is like new..I would
like to just drop it in and be done with th 700.. thanx

I really need some help here.

A buddy of mine performed a routine oil change on his 98 k1500 5.7  w/117k
miles. He reports metal on the magnet for the first time. Tiny pieces of
iron all standing at attention.  The oil went into a closed tub uninspected.
No other symptoms..knocking etc. Oil pressure at startup ...

Hi! I've noticed that my 02 Silverado (1500,4.8l, X-cab) is lower on the
front-left side, by almost 2 inches, than the right front side.
I haven't changed anything in it ever. I don't think are the coils/springs
and the shocks are looking OK with no signs of leakage, new or old.
