Is there any way  to disable the function that kills the dvd screen in the
console while in drive. I certainly dont want to watch Finding Nemo, but my
kids are fine with the screen in the rear, but my wife gets bored only
hearing the sound and not the movie.

I would like to take a late 70's to mid 80's chevy truck and retro it
as far as removing all electronics.  Is that possible? Return the
truck to a 'points' system, etc.

Hello, I changed my 3.73 rear end to a 4.10 on my 98 Silverado and now my

I have a problem that I would like some opinions on.  Sometimes, when I hit
the door unlock key on my remote(factory), the driver's door will not
unlock(you can't even hear it trying to unlock).  Other times, it works
fine.

GREASED,CLEANED LOCKING THINGEE. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED.
OPENING LEVER WORKS FINE, RIGHT SIDE SLIDES INTO LATCH PERFECTLY, LEFT SIDE
WILL NOT MOVE IN ENOUGH TO GO INSIDE LATCH. TAILGATE RATTLES ...

The truck was in perfect condition, then was in a fresh water flood
where it was completely submerged under water for about an hour.

After driving a long distance and shutting the engine off it doesn't want to

It's like the timing off, the engine turns VERY SLOW but always starts??
I have had to waite a few mints but it always starts?

Anyone know where I can get seat locking pins for the bench seats?
They install on the floor to lock the seat down. Looks like maybe a
dealership item? Thanks.

I made this post already and one person answered by saying a shim was
missing from the starter!
Did you mean to say it only showed up when its HOT?
