I just pulled the front pulley on the crank and oil ran out.Does this mean the front timing cover seal is shot?Also will I have to pull it off to replace the seal? Thanks Guys!

Hey gang, I have a 96 silverado with over 146k miles on it. I am having trouble with it frequently shifting out of overdrive. When it does go into o/d, it bucks a little. I changed the filter and fluid. What is next?

Thanks to anyone that can help. Truck is a 1990 GMC Sierra with 5.7l V8 and auto. The back up lights as well as the rear cargo light on the cab don't work. I checked the fuse and it looked good but I changed it anyway. The lights still won't work. Any ideas on what to look at ...

I am replacing a timing chain on a 2.2 liter Sonoma 2wd. The timing mark on the crankshaft sprocket looks like a little drill mark. I think this is supposed to line up to the tab on the tensioner. The mark on the cam sprocket is the one Im not clear on. What does the mark look ...

3998920 casting , 1.94. 1.50 valves. I know they are 72-73 heads but no listing on cc's.. these are the ones going on the 237 0.60 block

Bought a 69 327 for $400 totally rebuilt.. looked and ran like it did.. he said it was a "stock" rebuild... WELL !!! I pill the heads off.. 1.94 valves.. kinda a pisser but then see flat top pistons and 0.60 on em.. I think damn....can't rebore it.. so I think positive.. it is ...

No service engine light but wants to die. Okay once up to speed but wants to idle at 500 or so and then die. Could this be a problem with the idle air control? If so, how hard to service? Looks like the IAC is right on the front of the throttle body. TIA for any input.

96 K1500 the tach and speedo are only working intermittently, they are not accurate when working, and the check gauges light comes on. Any idea where to start with this one?? Thanks,

I finally got around to taking the cracked manifold off..what a job!Found out the passenger side was cracked in 2 places..there where no gaskets behind these manifolds.Why would that be? Thanks for any info!
