Subject: no puedo postear....

1994 K1500 p/u.  5.7 motor, auto trans. Problem with smooth starting
and smooth takeoff.  This problem just gradually surfaced over the
past few weeks.  prior to this, the engine ran just fine.
Truck needs feathering of the gas to keep running on a cold start

The shaft from the front of the transmission of my '89 Chevy 1/2ton PU has
some play, and I hear what sounds like bearings rolling inside the case when
I rotate the shaft.  I'm assuming this is not a good thing.  I had the
tranny out to replace the clutch after if failed on me ...

My truck is a 2005 2500HD with Duramax & 6sp manual.
Lately, when is is cold outside, I have been experiencing a problem
with the tachometer.  The instrument simply reads the wrong engine
speed.  There are no codes displayed on my code reader & it is obvious

$800 qoute from shop for this. Ouch!!!
Scale of 1 to 10 how hard is this to do at home and are special
tools required?

I have a 98 Chev extended cab pickup with an automatic transmission, this
weekend it wouldn't shift from park.  I disconnected what I think is the
linkage that connects to the switch that keep one from shifting from park
without the brake engaged and it shifts from park fine.  ...
