| fuel tank repair | 07 Dec 2007 23:18 GMT | 8 |
Here's one I just heard of... my friend has an '07 pickup with a GM plastic gas tank. While parked in his driveway one night, someone reached in front of the left rear tire and drilled a 7/16 inch hole in the side of the gas tank about 1 inch above the bottom to steal

| 93 standard transmission | 07 Dec 2007 01:52 GMT | 1 |
I have a 93 1 ton gm 4x4 with a 5 speed standard transmission. It grinds when I put it in 2nd or reverse. There isn't much travel on the clutch peddle so is this a transmission problem or a cluth problem? It goes into all other gears smoothly.

2004 Chevy Silverado 4 X 4 Tach, speedometer and now temp. gauges are malfunctioning by giving false readings. Tach will read normally for a while then go to zero, speedometer sticks at 30 -40 mph when engine is shut off, and temp gauge sticks also. What's the problem?

| hubs for 93 suburban k | 04 Dec 2007 17:31 GMT | 3 |
Since I don't have manually locking hubs, I would have to assume that my truck uses some sort of inertia locking mechanism at each front wheel whenever the front transfer case is engaged. It seems to work pretty well, but I've heard that nothing beats manual locking hubs. I

| noise from under dash | 03 Dec 2007 20:21 GMT | 6 |
I have a noise up under my rh dash. It sounds like coffee gurgling away in a coffee maker. It does it frequently, but at odd moments. Once before a mechanic said it was because my water in circulation was way down---my water pump had a real small hole in it. He fixed the pump, ...

| Oil Pressure gauge | 03 Dec 2007 18:16 GMT | 2 |
My dashboard oil pressure gauge (2000 Silverado 5.3 86,000 miles) shows 60-70 when I drive it on the freeway at about 60-65 mph. On a friends car, new Tahoe only 15,000 miles, it's usually at 40 or so. Is this something I should be worried about?
