03 Trailblazer idle problem14 Jan 2008 18:48 GMT2
Idle problem resulted after replacing battery. Idle kick up when the A/C
compressor engaged was too slow resulting in a stall. Problem corrected
itself after 1 week. Why it took this long for the ECU to relearn is
anyone's guess.

2002 2500 Diesel
When I start the truck it takes about 15-30 seconds before the alternator
gauge shows it to begin charging. Any ideas.

How difficult is it to replace Cat Converter14 Jan 2008 00:57 GMT12
Ok, so I think my catalytic conver needs replacing. The heat shield is
rattling pretty bad, and its pretty old and rusted and I have replaced
or tuned-up just about everything else. So hopefully this will help my
bogging down.  Anyways I have called around to all the local shops

altenator problem???13 Jan 2008 07:35 GMT23
I have a Snow Bear Snowplow that operates on an electric winch and when I
lift or lower the plow everthing dims and the gauge drops. It takes a few
minutes after I'm done plowing for the gauge to return to normal with all
lights,ect. off.The altenator(stock) is just a year old ...
2 problems related?13 Jan 2008 02:57 GMT29
Recently my 99 Burb with 55,000 miles on it for some reason drained the
battery.  No lights are on and nothing is running.  Overnight the
battery is drained to the point that it barely starts.  Also, now there
is an error code P1345.  Could these be related?

Are performance plug wires worth it??12 Jan 2008 01:56 GMT5
Its time for spring tune up. I have an 89 s10 4.3 4x4. I was
wondering if there was any real benefit from performance plugs, wires,
coil on a stock engine. I understand the theory behind it. But I don't
know if they provide enough of a  noticeable improvement over OEM
90 GMC Defroster11 Jan 2008 14:51 GMT11
I hope someone can answer a question for me. I inherited my Dad's
1990 GMC Sierra 2 wheel drive PU. It has the 5.7L engine and automatic
transmission. It also has factory A/C. The truck has 130,000 miles on it
and runs like the day it left the dealer's lot. It has been maintained ...
