| 1994 Chevy 1500 won't start | 31 Jan 2009 03:24 GMT | 5 |
1994 Chevy W/T, 4.3 L, automatic, 4 x 2. Battery, alternator, cap, rotor and starter all replaced in past 6 months. Plugs and wires about 1 year old. Engine tries to turn over but sounds like not enough juice to do the job.

| Restoring 1983 Silverado 1500 .. any advice? pitfalls? | 31 Jan 2009 01:53 GMT | 1 |
I've got my eye on this old work truck this guy is selling. It appears to have been a work truck and it has two hitch balls for some reason. The paint looks bad, but I can't see any major rust or damage on it beyond a really scratched up bed.

| 99 Silverado dash paint | 30 Jan 2009 14:32 GMT | 1 |
I had some stickers on my dash (to keep a GPS on it) and when I peeled them off the dash paint came up with it! Apparently underneath the grey pain is black dashboard. Anyone know if chevy sells touch up paint for this?

Hey gang, I need to buy my first set of truck tires for my 97' Blazer 4X4. It calls for 235/70 15 but I was looking for a slightly more off road look then the XLT Michelin. Live in Maryland so snow is a consideration and I may cruise a trail or two. More on the road daily

What trucks are classified as "Heavy Duty"? I see the new 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks are called heavy duty. Does this apply to older trucks as well?

| 96 chevy truck blower motor, Hard to replace? | 27 Jan 2009 17:50 GMT | 1 |
Of course my blower motor goes out during a major ice storm. It is a 96 Chevy truck Silverado. Is this a hard job? I know most behicles it is pretty easy but I have not had time to read up on what is involved on this truck.

| "Pop" or "Snap" coming from drivers front. Parking Brake Related? | 27 Jan 2009 13:32 GMT | 7 |
I've taken my 2004 GMC Sierra Extended cab to (2) dealers to track down the "pop" or "snap" coming from the drivers front end of the trucks. The noises seem to happen in colder weather and when the truck goes over a bump or a turn.

| 4L60E for 1994 K1500?? | 26 Jan 2009 17:38 GMT | 2 |
After 185k my 1994 K1500 with the 4.3L V6 is in need of a transmission. Since this is not a vehicle that I depend on daily, I am simply looking for a used or possibly a rebuilt 4L60E which I will replace myself. Is this some kind of rare combination with the V6, as I never hear ...
