Plug or Patch?30 Sep 2004 08:39 GMT8
Almost all dealers and tire guys plug a flat tire. Almost all web sites by
Tire companies advise the user to pull off the tire and patch it from the
inside. Am I nuts trying to get it patched instead of plugged?
Richard.
Compressor noise 1990 Voyager 3.3L30 Sep 2004 08:19 GMT5
I'm getting what can only be described as a "growling" noise at RPMs
just above idle.  I'm 95% sure it's coming from the air conditioner
compressor, likely a bearing.  Is this a difficult thing to
disassemble?  My shop manual doesn't seem to say much about this.

2001 PT Cruiser Stalling/Just Like 1995 Voyager30 Sep 2004 03:09 GMT4
What is it with Chrysler?  I have a 2001 PT Cruiser that is only three years
old.  Early this summer when I had the inspection, I asked the dealer to try
and determine why the engine lopped at idle (it never had before).  When I
picked up the car the ticket said the computer was ...
300M strut problem29 Sep 2004 23:26 GMT2
My 99 300M had a problem with one of its front struts.  Car has 40k miles on
it.  Not sure what happened but it was clear that it was not doing its job
any more.  Perhaps one pothole too many.  Anyway, dealer planned on
replacing both front struts under the extended warranty but ...
03 Stratus heater-air cond fan speed control29 Sep 2004 21:39 GMT3
I waws driving on Thursday with the fan set at 3 when it just shut off.  Tried all the fan positions and the only one
that works is 4--full speed.  I believe a resistor pack opened somewhere---does anyone know where its located???
Thanks

95 Caravan 3.3 Rough idle29 Sep 2004 17:13 GMT7
I have been told that a carbon build up causes my car to miss once in awhile at idle speed? Wires/plugs good, car runs great when moving.
Any ideas?
Thx
1993 DGC 3.3 hard starting29 Sep 2004 17:09 GMT2
My GC 3.3L has become hard to start, van runs fine once started, filter
and pump were replaced 2 years ago, about 50,000kilomters ago, this just
up and started.
Checked and cleaned all the relay connectors, didn't help, fuel pressure

94 Caravan Mount Replacement doesn't fit. Need help!28 Sep 2004 15:13 GMT8
I was very proud that I managed to pull the old Front Right Engine
Mount out of my 94 Grand Caravan 3.3, when I realized that the
replacement mount, similar in all respects, had a smaller bolt hole
through the metal composite within the rubber. I have now gone to 4

98 Dodge Dakota - Panic button28 Sep 2004 07:32 GMT1
I got a first production run 98 Dakota.  It came with a key fob with a
panic button in the center, lock and unlock on the end.  Thing is,
Dodge did not put any instructions in the manual on how to use or what
to do with it.  My friend, with a 97, doesn't have the panic feature

96 chrysler LHS tight steering27 Sep 2004 23:15 GMT1
Just replaced the right inner tie rod end and the steering rack mounting
bushings.  Steering is now stiff,  it was effortless before [but sloppy].
Can't figure why it got hard.  I know some Chryslers have speed sensitive
steering, could I have loosened a wire.  Had front  end ...
