Intrepid 98. Window bizzare bahavior31 Oct 2004 23:16 GMT6
This is rather strange.
Widows on left side one day work fine, another I can't open them, and next

Re: In-the-tank fuel pumps cause death and destruction31 Oct 2004 21:41 GMT25

to the fuel tank?  Obviously, a drain valve installed at the tank sump
would safely allow the complete drainage of a fuel tank before in-tank-fuel
pump or fuel gauge sending unit servicing.  To the drain valve ...
Problem solved31 Oct 2004 20:47 GMT1
After several days of testing and many starts, everything seems to be fine
now.  No fuel smell and predictable starts, just like new.  It was a faulty
fuel pressure regulator and a cracked vacuum hose attached to the regulator.
About $60 in parts and a few minutes to replace it.  ...

I have a 95 NYer with about 173,000 miles (about 45,000 on new pads and
rotors), and a weird problem. When I am slowing to a stop, the rear brakes
sound like I'm on the rivets only when the trans finally goes to first
gear. I haven't noticed it though in low speed stop where the ...

2.7 Liter w/ 138,000 miles - keeping her in shape30 Oct 2004 21:34 GMT4
I just purchased a 99 Intrepid (2.7L V6) that has 138,000 miles on it.
I was looking for a high mileage vehicle that I could get cheap.  I
thought this car was a steal for $2800.  I took it out on the highway
during the test drive and drove it pretty hard.  I was impressed.  The

My girlfriend's car was acting up today. When she tried to start it,

In another thread, you had asked for the URL to Bush's 2001 Energy Policy which
the plan was based on that never saw the light of day in congress.

Dodge Carvan 02 tansmission oil leaking28 Oct 2004 22:27 GMT6
I think it is transmission oil that is located under the front of the van on
the driver's side.
I have 66 000km and never replaced the transmission oil since the van was
new.
