'92 Plymouth Acclaim electrical issues...25 Oct 2004 02:27 GMT1
There is something very wrong with the electrical. The tack needle
sits at 6000rpm and does not move. When it's in that position, the
radio, and interior light do not work. At other times the tack gets
burried at 7000+, when it is in that position everything works fine.
2002 300M Exterior Cleaning Question25 Oct 2004 01:25 GMT4
Has anyone ever seen a buildup of dirt/something  on the metal strips
between windows & near mirrors ? It's that funny metal - different
from body. After some brush-less car washes, there seems to be this
buildup (streaky/blotchy) only in those areas. You can hand rub it out
When will my PT reach Vermont24 Oct 2004 16:19 GMT1
Stopped in my dealer yesterday and they told me my PT is built.  Last
Wednesday(20th).  Can anyone tell me how long it will take to reach me here
in Burlington?  Toluca is quite a ways down in Mexico from looking at the
map.  An enthusiast's site ptcruizer.com outlined the path ...
PT Cruiser - Low Brake Fluid -24 Oct 2004 14:33 GMT2
I was wondering if anyone out there  has this problem.  I have a 2002
PT Cruiser and I've had to fill my master cylinder.  In fact the
original fluid was so low that I could hardly see it at the bottom of
the reservoir.   I have not seen any fluid leaks on the ground or under
Passenger floor is wet24 Oct 2004 02:34 GMT4
2002 Voyager with front passenger carpet wet with white gunk between the
seat and  the door.  My mother-in-law asked me and I have no clue.  Only two
things I can think of:  leaking when raining or heater coil.   I sprayed a
hose on passenger side door and windshield and observed ...
T&C leveler shocks ?24 Oct 2004 02:25 GMT5
Have a '03 T&C Limited that I would like to install the self leveling
shocks on. The price at the dealer is ridiculous. I recall in the past
that there was a source somewhere that deals with these shock at a
considerably lower price.

so where they might be
96 Town & Country Oxygen Sensor23 Oct 2004 21:11 GMT5
I need to change my upper (manifold) O2 sensor and I can just see it from
under the vehicle way up on top of the rear manifold. Anyone have any
proceedures for getting to it? It looks like I need to drop the engine or
something drastic like that to get to it. Help!

and GM?

96 Town & Country Electrical Problem23 Oct 2004 21:04 GMT11
About 2 weeks ago, my wife stopped at a store for about 15 minutes and
when she came out the T&C wouldn't start (she said no lights just dead).
I had her open the hood and make sure the cables to the battery were
secure by tugging on them a little (she said they were).  She went ...
Its the catalytic converter, stupid23 Oct 2004 14:51 GMT19
When I say stupid, I am refering to myself.
I have a 1998 3.9L V6 Dakota with 60K miles.
The engine has always been prone to knocking. Its
worse in the summer (hot) and I must always use
'96 New Yorker Engine Cradle Bushing Alignment22 Oct 2004 17:28 GMT2
...searched the news group but haven't found anything relevant to
this. I've installed the engine cradle isolator bushings on my '96 New
Yorker, and I'm told by a few shops that I need to have the engine
aligned. The Haynes manual has no information on it at all. Has anyone

EMAILING for a friend................
"Em hit a deer last night, boo hoo, on her b-day too.  Anyhow, all's well
except for the passenger headlight plastic on the van.
Is there a site somewhere else you're aware of for reliable car
Theft Hot List22 Oct 2004 04:30 GMT17
The HLDI released it's list of cars based on how likely they are to be stolen.
Among the top 5 are two Cadillac SUX/XUV models and the Nissan Maxima, which I
guess makes some sense.  The Cadillac's have expensive wheels and are often
recovered without the wheels and the Maxims ...
