| 92 Dakota Timing not right | 07 Dec 2004 21:20 GMT | 1 |
It appears the timing on the 92 Dakota (3.9 L) is set by the ECM. My timing seems to be off. My timing light shows it set at TDC while idling. If I rev up engine (while in park) it backfires thru throttle body. The timing chain is new. The truck seems to run ok but burns a

| Oil pressure warning light on '95 Voyager w/ 3.0L | 07 Dec 2004 16:51 GMT | 24 |
We're 200 miles from home tonight with an erratic low oil pressure light on our '95 Voyager, 3.0L, with 110,000 miles. The repair manual and virtually all of my tools are 200 miles away :-(. The light goes on and out. I do not hear any clattering or ticking like I'd expect to ...

| They changed Google Groups - awful | 07 Dec 2004 14:47 GMT | 2 |
Anybody figured out a good quick way to find a particular ng other than go to Advanced Search and enter the name? I liked the old drill-down system better. Bill Putney

| 2002 Caravan Ball Joints | 07 Dec 2004 14:44 GMT | 12 |
I was trying to shoot grease into the lower ball joints today and the grease wasn't going in. I unscrewed the grease fitting and found out that it didn't have a hole in it. In fact, it really didn't look like a normal fitting. Are these ball joints maintenance free or do I have

| lRe: O3 Grand Caravan Tranni questions | 07 Dec 2004 11:17 GMT | 1 |
Not on a regular basis. My wife does take the van from time to time but I drive it 95% of the time. Even so, she doesn't drive that differently from me, at least in my opinion not enough to cause a vehicle to have such problems.

| Transmission Fluid Stick Readingn - 2000 Concorde LXi | 06 Dec 2004 21:30 GMT | 2 |
The dipstick showed the fluid level (hot) was a tad below the top two holes. Can someone tell me the fluid capacity it takes between these two; a cup, pint, quart? I don't want to overfill and I don't want add too little at a time.

| Mexican Dodge Dakota SUV | 06 Dec 2004 16:15 GMT | 8 |
Read in this newsgroup about a Dakota SUV, made in Mexico and sold only in Mexico, not available in the states. An intensive Google search for a picture of this vehicle produced only one site.

| '97 Cirrus charging system question | 06 Dec 2004 14:58 GMT | 2 |
I just had to re-charge the battery on my '97 Cirrus (6-cyl size 75 battery). My question is if the car's charging system will charge the battery while idling or does the car have to be running at cruising rpms for the alternator to kick in.

| 2003 Grand Caravan Sport 3.3 - clunck in the front | 04 Dec 2004 03:33 GMT | 16 |
When I go over a bump or a speed bump I hear a clunking or knocking from the front. I think it comes from the steering column. It is more evident when you go over the speed bump with the steering wheel turned a little and this makes the van rock more to the sides and you hear the ...

| 90 dodge spirit fuel pump | 03 Dec 2004 22:34 GMT | 5 |
I have a 90 dodge spirit with a 2.5L (non-turbo) where the fuel pump is having troubles. First of all, I can't hear the pump. Most of the time, when the car is turned on, the voltage going to the fuel reads .005V. When the engine is cranked, it reads a steady 10.4V. Once when ...

| Order Of Error Codes | 03 Dec 2004 20:20 GMT | 10 |
