I have a 2002 liberty sport with the off road and towing package. So far while I am very happy with the engine - the rest of the vehicle is a POS. And Chrysler has been a nightmare to deal with. At 60 K miles - I was standing outside the vehicle talking to my

| Consumer Reports rates minivans | 18 Feb 2005 20:19 GMT | 51 |
Not surprisingly, Honda and Toyota were rated the tops in minivans though if you really want those fold down seats, Consumer Reports gave Chrysler the nod. The Chrysler did not do as well as Honda and Toyota on the drivetrain, noise and ride. Interesting enuf, Chrysler ...

| (OT) Newgroups to fade away? | 17 Feb 2005 22:45 GMT | 20 |
My ISP is small. They contract a 3rd party for the newgroups. They've been thru 3 or 4 in the last year because the ones they try out have been lousy. From what they tell me, very, very few of their subscribers use or care about newsgroups, and I get the feeling that their

| '98 Caravan - Electric and Liftgate Trouble | 17 Feb 2005 21:51 GMT | 2 |
Perhaps someone can advise. Some time ago both fromt and rear parking lights on my 98 Caravan stopped operating. I checked the bulbs and the fuses, and they were OK. Next, the dashboard lights also stopped working; again, the fuse was fine. (The Check Engine, airbag, etc.

| Front end shudder '96 T & C | 17 Feb 2005 20:47 GMT | 9 |
My van shudders from about 40-55 when accelerating but not when decelerating. Once over about 65, there is no shudder either way. I had the axles replace a few months ago and it went away but I had them inspected recently and 2 places say the axles are not the problem. One

| 99 Grand Caravan spare tire | 17 Feb 2005 02:52 GMT | 5 |
Went to change a flat tire on my wife's 99 Grand Caravan yesterday, only to find that the spare wouldn't lower more than 6". the cable itself came out of the spindle (3 feet of it...), but I couldn't get the spare to drop. I tried spinning the spare and the spindle, but

| Radiator Revisited | 16 Feb 2005 22:28 GMT | 5 |
Well my 01 Cruiser's (64,000 miles) radiator and thermo were leaking. Picked up a local thermo at the dealer and order an Asian radiator for $99.00 off e-bay. A local cooler specialty shop did the work for $200 less than the dealer.

| 95 Caravan 3sp Tranny Governor | 16 Feb 2005 06:32 GMT | 1 |
Picked up van today, my shop charged me $80+tax to repair. Replaced governor, flushed fluid, new filter, adjusted shift cable, etc. Runs beautifully. Seems that man has not yet solved the mystery of the 3 speed Caravan Tranny... There were 4 of them on the floor when
