01 intrepid struts 04 Feb 2005 21:11 GMT11
01 Chrysler Intrepid ES 74,000 km
Both front struts are leaking and need to be replaced (according to my
extended Warranty appointed shop, and the struts by the way are
conveniently not covered under my warrany).  I will be having a second
Simultaneous Application of Gas and Brake Pedals04 Feb 2005 18:14 GMT128
As strange as it might seem, the potentially disasterous application of
throttle and brake is not limited to old ladies pulling into a parking
space in front of a beauty shop.
Examine and quantify the geometric positions of the brake pedal and
Powered Seat Mechanism04 Feb 2005 17:40 GMT4
I'm looking for a part. On the driver powered seat there is a white
plastic part slides on a screw shaft which and connects to the bottom
of the back-rest. The shaft rotates moving the plastic part back and
forth. It therefore moves the back-rest back and forth. It is this
SMEC - Plymouth Voyager04 Feb 2005 17:33 GMT19
Awhile back, I posted regarding some probelms I was having w/ my 1996
Plymouth Voyager. It was doing poorly upon initial accelaration and
when under load (very little power). It was also showing Fault Code
43. Someone suggested it may be a problem with the SMEC.
3.3L V6 - What if I ignore timing chain rattle?04 Feb 2005 16:58 GMT15
I have a 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.3L V6 engine and 130,000
miles on it.  I hear a a rattling noise at idle which goes away as the
engine speed is increased past the idling speed.  Per another thread,
it was basically decided that it is likely the timing chain.
2001 Sebring Sedan 2.7 Engine/Tranny Whistle ??04 Feb 2005 03:29 GMT4
I just purchased a used 2001 Sebring with 39k on the 2.7 engine.
Little worried about the engine now after reading all the issues with
regards to engine oil sludge problems here and on other sites!
Everything seems good now, but I?m wondering about a engine
96 Stratus Oil Leak-Engine or Transmission04 Feb 2005 00:35 GMT3
My 96 Stratus(2.0, 5spd, 85K miles) sprung a leak yesterday.  I come home
from work, leave around an hour later and notice a black puddle about a foot
in diameter under the engine, more on the transmission side.  The oil was
thick and black.  I just changed the motor oil in the ...
Dodge Stratus ES '96 oil pressure light comes on03 Feb 2005 23:16 GMT7
I have a Dodge Stratus ES '96 with 130K miles on it. Lately the oil
pressure light has come on. I just changed oil (10W-30) and the oil
level is full (not too full though).
The light only comes on after the engine is warm and it is running on
1999 Chrysler Concorde Check Engine + Code03 Feb 2005 17:24 GMT3
We have a 1999 Chrysler Concorde and my wife reports that the "Check
Engine" light is on.  First thing this morning, I did the key
"On-Off-On-Off-ON..." trick to "code" the car and it reported the
following on the odometer:
02 Intrepid Stuck In Fast Idle03 Feb 2005 16:37 GMT1
I have an 02 Intrepid manufactured in canada, purchased used from a
dealer. I have had the car back to the dealer while under warranty for
a fast idle problem. The problem is this: When the outside temp is 32
deg F or cooler, the engine remains in fast idle even after reaching
ATF+4 in '95 Voyager?03 Feb 2005 10:24 GMT5
I just had the fluid changed on my '95 Voyager with the 4-speed
automatic. The dealer put in ATF+4.  Since then I've seen the text of
TSB 21-004-04, which is certainly one of the most confusing documents
that I've read in quite a while. The text of it appears here:
02 Caravan sway bar bushings03 Feb 2005 03:52 GMT15
I'm convinced that the knocking sound is coming from these things, but the
auto parts store wants $45 each side for an assembly. Does anyone make just
the bushings for $4-5 ? Are the connecting rods rebuildable at all? Hard to
believe a van with only 45,000 miles needs a bushing ...
'96 T & C temp control problem.03 Feb 2005 02:13 GMT6
This is a continuation of a previous thread.  The temp control for the
passenger side allows cold air ALWAYS on that side.  One of the NG members
suggested that it might be the temp control panel on the dash.  There was
recently 2 temp control panels for '96s on ebay.  I won one.  ...
0-60 accel. times for '95 Voyager02 Feb 2005 22:40 GMT1
I'm trying to find 0-60 acceleration times for a SWB '95 Caravan or
Voyager with a 3.0L V6 and the 4 speed automatic.  I haven't had any
luck with this so far.  Web sites Edmunds and Automotive.com don't
have much for vehicles that old, and neither does allpar.com (that
type of brake fluid for 1999 Dodge Caravan 3.0L02 Feb 2005 20:07 GMT1
