FWIW Lotus 29mpg & 0-60 in 4.6s19 Sep 2005 20:05 GMT5
Consumer Reports just tested a Lotus, of all things!  Its not exactly a
road car like a '53 Buick, but it is fast and thrifty on gas, despite its
"290 hp" engine.  So how did they do it?
Short answer:  2000 pounds.
OMG!!! Bubbles!19 Sep 2005 15:39 GMT9
I drive a '91 Plymouth Sundance RS 2.5 4 cyl w/ 205,000 miles (30,000
miles on used junkyard engine).
Ok, I was coming home from school today. When I parked into my
driveway, I decided to leave engine running. I opened the hood and
Manual Transmission for Stratus 2.5L V619 Sep 2005 05:39 GMT3
I really like my Stratus ES V6, but I wish it had a 5-speed manual
transaxle. I have close to 117,000 miles on it now and don't expect the
auto-transaxle to get me past 150,000. Given the cost to replace it when it
finally does fail, I am considering replacing it with a 5-speed. ...
Blown head gasket, thermostat18 Sep 2005 18:12 GMT10
What are the symptoms of a blown head gasket? With a blown head
gasket: Is the car supposed to overheat while running or when it’s
idle? If the coolant reservoir is bubbling and hissing could it be
this? Can a new thermostat be faulty? Could it cause the coolant
93 3.3 Dodge GV18 Sep 2005 18:10 GMT18
Had this problem once before and thought a junkyard computer fixed the
problem, but maybe not.  You're driving down the road and the car dies.
It'll crank fine, but won't start.  Fuel pressure is fine.  Last time we had
it towed to a dealership.  They 'thought' it was a bad ...
1990 Voyager overheating problem18 Sep 2005 03:08 GMT4
I've got a 1990 Grand Voyager 3.3 litre automatic that for some time
has been having overheating problems.  Basically, if I have to climb up
much of a hill (say going over Roger's Pass in the Canadian Rockies on
a major highway), the engine temp will climb quite quickly and will
GV 93 3.318 Sep 2005 02:58 GMT1
I just read where someone said that coolant was forced out of the overflow
tub and that is a result of his blown head gasket.  I've had that happen to
me on a few occasions, not every time I drive the van.  If it were a head
gasket, wouldn't it overheat and wouldn't I'd see water ...
sporadic mileage gauge18 Sep 2005 02:53 GMT3
Mostly in the summer my speedometer needle will jump around and then it
dies.  Dealer can't get car to do the same thing nor find anything that
may be causing it.  Help.
moon roofs18 Sep 2005 02:14 GMT5
my moon roof leaks sometimes when it rains and it's not from being open.  I
have made sure that it's totally close sometimes it leaks and other times
it doesn't.  Any ideas?

1997 Plymouth Voyeger SE17 Sep 2005 12:45 GMT4
THE ANTI-THEFT ALRM WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO START THE VEHICLE.
THE BATTERY IS UP AND CHARGED
THE ROMOTE WILL NOT DE-ACTIVATE THE ALARM - THE KEY TURNS THE IGNITION
BUT WILL NOT START - NO SOUND AT ALL.
96 Chrysler T&C Mini Van Air Conditioning17 Sep 2005 02:11 GMT4
My Mini-Van's AC just quit working the other day... was working fine one
day, then the next it wasn't doing anything but pumping out hot air....
Checked all fuzes (both in compartment & under hood) and all were fine.
Question:  Seems to be a fuzable link or something on top of the
Stripped drain plug on a 2000 Neon16 Sep 2005 19:40 GMT29
I always take my 2000 Chrysler Neon to the dealer for my oil changes
and ’peace of mind’ inspections.
I recently took it in for the oil change and after they did it, the
guy come out and told me that my drain plug was stripped and that they
`93 Eagle Summit -1.5 liter engine.--No Throttle16 Sep 2005 02:02 GMT2
I have a `93 Eagle Summit. It will start and idle just fine. However when
you step on the accelerator the engine attempts to die -smother out. Upon
releasing the accelerator it goes right back to a perfect idle.
I assumed the fuel filter was clogged, changed it out.
