Cylinder head Bolt Torque05 Sep 2005 23:50 GMT4
Re: Neon 1998 2000cc SOHC [under the Chrysler name here in the UK]
Hi guys -
my local dealer claims that re-torquing the head bolts after driving with a
new gasket is not necessary - he says that these cars use a different
shudder: need rotation or alighment? or...05 Sep 2005 09:07 GMT3
94 Caravan SE 170K miles. It has been running well except minor transmission
hesitations sometimes after stop.
Got a new problem lately. It shudders when speed is over 50mph. City driving
is still fine, but can't get it on highways.

I have a 1996 Cherokee 4WD with a 4lt in line six, with auto
transmission.
Over that last 4 months I have intermittent engine stall when the
vehicle is in motion low at medium speed, never when idling in traffic.
ABS, brake light 98 Dodge Dakota04 Sep 2005 01:18 GMT11
For several months, my abs and brake light have been coming on for a
few seconds only to go out and not come back on when the vehicle is
shut down and then restarted. Yesterday they came on and stayed on.
My (almost useless) Haynes manual says to check all electrical

2000 GC Emergency brake question03 Sep 2005 16:50 GMT2
Greetings. I wanted to know what type of emergency brakes are in the
rear of the 2000 GC. I ask because this is my Dad's car and he
accidentally drove a mile or 2 with the E-brake on. Is it a seperate
"drum assembly" inside the discs? He's in another town so I can't see
03 T&C ABS/Traction Light03 Sep 2005 16:39 GMT2
Unreal. The day after taking delivery of this van, 03 T&C LXi the ABS
and Traction off light come on and stay on. I take it back and they
replace the rear wheel sensor. Free, of course, but still. I sure hope
this isn't a sign of things to come with this van! lol
01 Caravan routine maintenance items03 Sep 2005 05:36 GMT12
My 2001 Caravan Sport seems to have a lot of problems related to poor
engineering, and materials selection. Don't DC engineers learn from past
mistakes?
At 45k miles I spent $333 just to get the airbag and check engine lights to
Dealer lost Five Star status02 Sep 2005 22:43 GMT7
Our local Dodge dealer recently (within the last 6-12 months) lost its
Five Star status from DaimlerChrysler. A friend contacted D-C to inquire
what this meant and they would only say that this information is
"proprietary."
finding air and water leaks around weatherstripping02 Sep 2005 21:37 GMT4
I found this out by mistake today. I washed my engine then started it right
away to help dry things up while I washed the rest of my truck. I noticed
while washing around the door openings, window openings and door handles
that I was getting large amounts af bubbles building like a ...
300M Almost stalling02 Sep 2005 20:01 GMT5
My 300M almost stalls at times when either accelerating slowly after
switching from reverse into drive, or reversing.  It stalled twice when I
was reversing fast, but I brushed this off thinking I was being too hard on
the car. The car also shifts hard at times.
FS 1986 Dodge Aries SE wagon02 Sep 2005 17:37 GMT19
this car is probably as close a survivor that I know of.
I bought it from the original owner 2 months ago.

Seat Belt Tensioner Sensor02 Sep 2005 10:29 GMT5
I have a '02 Sebring Convertible Limited and the airbag warning light has
come on.  Dealer says it's the "Driver's side seat belt tensioner sensor"
that is the cause and he needs to replace the ENTIRE seat belt assembly at a
cost of $360.  He says it may cause the airbags not to ...

come Tuesday. (Off for the weekend).
