What happened to AWD?31 Dec 2005 20:46 GMT14
I have recently decided to look around for a replacement for my 1999
Chrysler T&C Limited.  With 140K it is becoming a money pit.
My first thoughts were for another T&C Limited.  However, I was
surprised to find that AWD is no longer offered in the 2005 and 2006
FYI: Trans problem and Fix!31 Dec 2005 18:25 GMT4
I have a 94 GC with 3.3l and 4 speed automatic. The trans was rebuilt
a little under 2 years ago.
A couple of days ago, it jumped into limp mode while my wife was
driving.
Problems with 2000 LHS31 Dec 2005 18:21 GMT2
We are having problems with our 2000 LHS. The battery light came on.
We tested the alternator and it was bad so we replaced the alternator
and also the battery. The battery light would not turn off, but we
tried driving it anyway.  We figured that it may take some time for
1996 T&C Transmission HELP needed31 Dec 2005 16:15 GMT2
Our van transmission has decided to quit working completely in reverse. In
drive it will only work in first gear and when it goes to change to second
it completely stops working and engine freewheels. Shifting into any gear
after that does not work. The only way to get the car to ...

Is there a Chilton CD that covers the 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan LWB?
Are Chilton CD's good?  Are other brands good too?
1999 Chrysler Town & Country Locks30 Dec 2005 12:19 GMT6
I have a friend who owns a 99 T&C and continually locks herself out
because the van locks automatically when the doors are shut no matter
where the keys are.  The manual says nothing about programming the
locks, and I would like to help her figure it out.
Changing P/S Pump on 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan w/ 3.3L ...30 Dec 2005 06:16 GMT1
All,
The p/s pump on my '03 Grand Caravan is beginning to leak and groans
occasionally when the wheel is turned back and forth.  My dealership
recommended replacing the p/s pump.
Air Bag Light on30 Dec 2005 03:13 GMT22
I need to get my car inspected in New York State, but my Air Bag light is
on. The new regulations force inspection shops to connect the car computer
to a computer in Albany for emissions (or something like that). Will this
Air Bag light issue cause my car to fail inspection? I ...

My tires are wearing on the inside, and the top of the front tires are
facing inward the bottom

tell if the ball joints are out?
97 Caravan Exhaust Noise30 Dec 2005 00:51 GMT5
I have a 97 Dodge Caravan with a 3.0 litre engine.  I recently had some
stalling and re-starting problems that were traced to the PCM controller,
which was eventually replaced.
Also, within the past six months, the muffler and resonator were replaced at
'96 T&C HVAC mysteriously fixed29 Dec 2005 10:55 GMT4
I have had a problem with my HVAC in that it would only blow in high speed.
All the other, including dual temp controls, worked. I changed resistor,
relay and finally, the motor (because running it on high began to wear out
the bearings).  Nothing fixed it.  Then last week I had the ...
Aftermarket parts broken by local Chrysler Service Center29 Dec 2005 10:22 GMT2
On Dec. 15th I brought my 2001 Town and Country into my local Chrysler
service center for servicing.  This van has been modified for
wheelchair access and has a 10 inch dropped floor and wheelchair ramp.
There are ground effects on each side to cover up the dropped floor
Is this newsgroup monitored by Chrysler?29 Dec 2005 09:52 GMT33
If Daimler-Chrysler reads this newsgroup and has an official responder, I
invite him to come forward and acknowledge it.  You have the opportunity of
a lifetime to actively engage with people who are interested in seeing you
supercede GM, Ford, and the myriad of competitors who gnaw ...
Shifting a604 from Third to First29 Dec 2005 09:40 GMT8
I'm going to take a trip which will require pulling a trailer behind
my 92 Voyager w/ 3.3. I may have to travel down and up some steep
hills and my question is: If I'm in 3rd and travelling between 30 and
35 MPH, can I manually move the shift selector from 3rd down to 1st
recommed service shop for T&C in Fairfax, Virginia29 Dec 2005 03:46 GMT2
Wondering if there is any dependable and knowledgeable service in the area
who can diagnose my frequent mechanical issue with reasonable charge?
The dealer that I sent the van for work seems not very good with the
suspension or mechanical issues.  The noise comes back pretty fast. ...
