| 1995 Plymouth Acclaim New Owner | 31 Jan 2006 19:41 GMT | 24 |
I just bought a '95 Acclaim with 140,000 miles to use as a commuter car. It's got the 3.0 V6 and a 3 speed auto. I changed the oil yesterday and added 4.5 quarts of oil to the motor as per the manual. Now, unlike before, I get a flickering oil pressure light when I stop

| Dumb question about NASCAR | 31 Jan 2006 16:54 GMT | 5 |
I'm not into NASCAR, but this question was triggered by a radio talk show I heard part of the other day. The discussion was about NASCAR not allowing "foreign" comapnies to race in NASCAR - i.e, sticking with Ford, GM, Chrysler. My question is that with Chrysler now ...

If you put 30 lb of air pressure in a tire while it is off a vehicle and then mount the tire on a vehicle will the added weight placed on the tire increase that tire's internal air pressure? Provide the basis for your answer.

| Removing 94 voyager Alternator | 31 Jan 2006 11:09 GMT | 8 |
I am trying to remove my alternator from a 94 Voyager with a 3.3 engine. I have it detached from the engine but I cannot get it out from the bottom and back of the engine. It just will not squeeze through the space to the right of the exhaust pipe between the body and the ...

| PT Cruiser - Losing Coolant | 31 Jan 2006 02:46 GMT | 2 |
I was cleaning the wife's 2001 PT Cruiser (with 48,000 miles) yesterday and noticed that the overflow reservoir was low (perhaps empty). So I removed the radiator cap and found that the coolant level was low in the engine as well. I added ~two quarts to the engine radiator and ...

| Transmission | 30 Jan 2006 22:43 GMT | 2 |
Lately I noticed the transmission doesn't work too well . When I checked fluid level I noticed a lot of bubbles on the dip stick ,and basically I couldn't see what is the level. Is the level too high , or too low ?

| Horizon shift problem | 30 Jan 2006 19:39 GMT | 1 |
My '88 Ply Horizon 2.2 L 5-speed (160 K mileage) has been a very dependable car since it was new. About a month ago, the clutch suddenly became hard to depress and dragged when shifting gears. I took it to the mechanic who's worked on it over the years, and he

| PT Transmission Service | 30 Jan 2006 18:53 GMT | 3 |
My wife's 2005 convertible is coming up on 30K miles. What is the plan for servicing the transmission. I have read many posts about having it done by a dealer using the approved AFT +4 fluid only. What else is necessary? Clean screen, new filter, clean pan, etc. Sorry

| look out PT | 30 Jan 2006 03:10 GMT | 25 |
I just saw one of those new Chevy HHR jobbies. It's very much the same concept as the PT, but with a much more comfortable, less "love it or leave it" look. Less in your face, if you like. Actually, I thought it looked better in the metal than in pictures or on the

| Tire air pressure question | 29 Jan 2006 05:12 GMT | 7 |
The tires on my 2001 PT call for 34 psi cold tire pressure. Since mpg and tire wear are based on the amount or tire tread* that contacts the pavement, wouldn't it make sense for the front tires to have a higher psi to compensate for the weight of the engine?
