I have the above mentioned car with manual gear, and today when driving
home from work, the Check Engine light in my cockpit lit up. I drove a
mile in it to my house and turned it off. Then i waited for a minute and
turned it back on, and the engine did start up, but when i was ...
Junkyard transmission?31 Mar 2006 10:47 GMT7
What years of Caravan automatic transmissions are compatible with the
1993 4-speed automatic, the one that needs frequent costly repairs?
Would it make sense to look for a replacement in a junkyard, and hope
to find a more recent year, when the transmissions weren't quite as

This is not my auction and I have no relationship to the seller or car but I
happened to come across it on ebay.  I thought it was a nice looking car.  I
don't remember ever seeing one before.

2) If so, where is the fuse box on a 99 Intrepid? I bought used and did

3) Is this an easy thing to remedy?
Air Filter Housing 2.7 Intrepid 199829 Mar 2006 23:55 GMT1
I replaced my Air Filter today, also took out the housing to clean the
battery terminal underneath.
I removed the  Air Hose from the Upper part of the filter housing.
After reassembling I seem to have a rubber gasket that fits over the end of
Bizzare Starter Motor Problem29 Mar 2006 16:45 GMT2
Scroll down for diagnosis.  Textbooks and FSM of no value.
Symptom:  This is an intermittant starter malfunction.  Most of the time,
when the key is turned to "start" the engine cranks normally.  Sometimes,
however, there is a momentary delay before starter engagement.  During this
01 Sebring Radio Issue HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!29 Mar 2006 07:43 GMT3
I have a 2001 Sebring with 60K miles and the radio went out. First it would
cut out then come back on the next day, so I thought elec. short but presets

would work only the EQ lights would blink ...
Fuel injector service???29 Mar 2006 06:47 GMT9
I received a letter in the name of my local dealer (but mailed from
another state) offering me "special deals" on my '02 300M's next oil
change (looks like the same price I always pay) and on a "fuel injector
service" for $87.50.
PT Cruiser????29 Mar 2006 02:44 GMT10
I am thinking of buying a PT Cruiser. I have looked at used  and new.
The used range from 01-05, 15,000-125,000 miles. I have looked at
Limited, Touring, ??? I need an automatic. Most used ones I see run
about $9,500-9,995, 55,000-99,000 miles, regardless of year. Any
2001 Caravan Gas Pedal Sticking29 Mar 2006 02:15 GMT2
Frequently, the gas pedal will stick as I'm driving. I can be cruising
on the freeway and when I want to accelerate, the pedal will be hard to
push. Eventually, I can get the pedal to work, but it is scary. The
pedal can also be hard to push after the car has been setting for a
Of Sway Bar Bushings and End Links28 Mar 2006 18:36 GMT4
When my 01 PT Cruiser started clunking down the road at about 50,000 miles I
picked up new bushings and sway bar links. It was a very easy job and not
too expensive.
Now my 04 Town & Country started clunking down the road at about 55,000
Chrysler Cirrus 199928 Mar 2006 17:16 GMT8
since 5 days I own an Chrysler Cirrus LX (1999, 2,4ltr, automatic

I wonder whether this car has anti-lock break system (ABS). There is no
panel light (to show function/malfunction) or switch to
Transmission reliability on long road trip28 Mar 2006 11:51 GMT11
If you're on a long road trip in a 1993 Grand Caravan with 4-speed
automatic transmission, and the transmission goes bad and needs to be
rebuilt, what's the best solution?  Should you go to a transmission
shop, or a Dodge dealer, or what?  How much should you expect to pay?
99 T&C headlight wiring and poor performance28 Mar 2006 05:45 GMT6
Here's my story:
The road illumination from this vehicle seemed to be getting pathetic
lately.  I noticed that the exterior of the lens were pitted, but as well
the interior of the lens has been fogging up and has moisture in them.  When
