When changing a snapped timing belt in this engine, does the harmonic balancer have to come off? Also, what did Chrysler use as gasket material? And, lastly, are there any "tricks" one should know of to make the job easier and more accurate?

I have those flip-up headlight covers on my car. They won't stay up anymore & when I drive over a bump, the covers fall down covering my lights up!!! Is there a way I could fix this myself or even a way I could rig the covers to stay open all the time?

Just happened yesterday. Van starts and idles fine, but when it's put in any gear it will kill immediately. Could it be a vacuum problem? Nothing unusual soundwise. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

I have a 92 Spirit. It has preformed well untill lately, When the temperture gets above 30C. the car will not run above an idle and when throttle is applied, the car shudders and loses power. When the car is cold, say in the morning it runs fine. Any ideas? And if the fuel pump

One of the dash bulbs in my '99 Intrepid has burned out. The FSM has a long, involved process of tearing half the car apart to get at it. Anyone found a shortcut? Cheers.

On my ES the headlamp switch seems to have a light in it that illuminates through the panel that holds the switch. On my Sport, there is no light. Is this a function of the light switch and it could possibly be a defective switch on the Sport ?
