Convertible top header latches23 Nov 2006 14:18 GMT5
I have heard that the convertible top header latches are prone to
failure. I think one of mine has a crack. Any tips on replacement? Are
the parts still available?
I called the shop that replaced the top last year, but they have no

Transmission Solenoid/PT Cruiser23 Nov 2006 00:52 GMT1
My wife's 2005 PT/Conv started to slip and not engage in gear.  We
took it to the dealer and he said it was the transmission solenoid,
which was covered under the powertrain warranty.  I had a 2003
PT/Sedan and never had this problem.  Is this a weak spot in the car?

Hi, On cold mornings sometimes my 2002 Dodge Intrepid starter will
grind the flywheel. The engine will give a cough that makes me think
that maybe the spark is advanced too much for a cold start. Is that
possible? The dealer has worked on it twice in less than a year and

1996 Concorde 3.3 Coolant Leak20 Nov 2006 18:32 GMT24
I'm getting a coolant leak near the front of the engine. It is not the
radiator. I suspect the water pump. What's the cost of repair if I take
it to a repair shop or a dealer?
One guy says the timing cover has to be removed to get at the leak and

Does anyone know how to reset the overhead computer after you change
the oil?  It keeps telling me to "Perform Service", but all I really
need to do is reset the message for another 3000 miles.
Thanks.

Complete Air Bag System Replacement for PTC18 Nov 2006 12:47 GMT7
I have a 2001 PTC, 5 speed, 61k miles, only owner.  No accidents or
hits. Extended warranty (4yr/50k) expired in Feb 2005.
In June 2005 my air bag light stayed on and chimed when starting.  Went
to a local dealer.  Diagnosed problem as bad harness.  Said that only
No Heat from rear blower 2001 Town & Country18 Nov 2006 12:31 GMT5
We own a 2001 T&C LXi with rear automatic temperature control.  Heat
does not come out of any of the  in the ceiling nor in the floor.  I'm
guessing that the problem lies somewhere between the tubes up front and
the door (?) that controls how much hot & cold air enter into the

Thanks for helping out here.
My daughter has a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus and the right rear brake is
dragging. I go for 4mile drive around town and get home and it is too
hot to touch. I lick my finger and touch brake drum and it sizzles - so

Dems take Congress, syn fuels will be reality18 Nov 2006 02:22 GMT14
Now that the "Republipedo" party is washed up, watch for Congressional
