92 Chrysler minivan ABS controller23 Feb 2007 00:07 GMT27
My 1992 GTRV van conversion (Plymouth GrVoyager) developed brake problems
over the weekend (pedal to the floor, minimum braking)
The dealership diagnosed a faulty ABS controller & offered two options:
1.  New controller - $2500 plus.  Not much of an option on a fifteen-year

belt tensioner 1999 Voyager 3.322 Feb 2007 04:48 GMT13
I want to remove the belt on my 1999 voyager 3.3, but I don't want to
break anything.
I put a wrench on it and turned it as if tightening the bolt.  The
pulley did not move, but the bolt turned a little bit.
a604 Limp, Rebuilt, Sensors replaced, solenoid replaced still Limps!22 Feb 2007 02:52 GMT104
I picked up a Dodge stratus (95) with 75,000 miles. I put about 5-6k
on it. Then one day (a very warm day) on the way home from work (40
mile commute) as i was nearing the house it shifted into what I
thought may be limp mode at about 45-50mph. The car nose dived and
Cirrus CV axles22 Feb 2007 01:54 GMT5
As mentioned in an earlier post, I bought a 2000 Cirrus over the
weekend.
I have found another strange thing. On most CV axles that I have
looked at, there is always the large retainer nut. This is usually
97 Dogde Caravan Relay makes Clicking sound21 Feb 2007 20:47 GMT2
I have an 1997 Dodge Caravan that I just took out of the driveway this
morning and it started no problem.
Now it wont start and the dash board lights do not illuminate. When
the door is opened, I hear a clicking sound from the under-dash board
Need good source for tan door panels for 1984 D-15021 Feb 2007 03:37 GMT1
I was blessed enough to find and buy a really nice 1984 Dodge D-150
pickup on eBay for a decent price.  It has a really nice body, (Texas
cars are well preserved, in most cases), and Spent several hours
cleaning up a very neglected interior.
2.4L engine failure modes???20 Feb 2007 23:39 GMT11
I've got a 2002 Caravan with the 2.4L engine.
It's got 92,000 on the clock.
I'm wondering what is the most common failure mode with these engines?
I gather that since the head gasket redesign of 1999, the head gasket
Questions about Chrysler Cirrus20 Feb 2007 21:54 GMT4
I bought a 2000 Cirrus over the weekend. There are just a few annoying
electrical problems:
1. Power driver seat will not move forward. It is like the motor on
the inside track is not working. Is there a way to find out what is
1994 Dodge Spirit Thirsty for ATF20 Feb 2007 21:24 GMT1
So my crappy little Spirit has a drinking problem.
I feed it a quart of ATF, and in a week he wants more.  He doesn't
seem to spill it anywhere, it just seems to DISSAPPEAR!
So, i am thinking there is something un-obvious wrong, or my car has
1999 3.3 voyager spark plugs20 Feb 2007 16:25 GMT3
One more question for the experienced Chrysler mechanics...
I'm replacing spark plugs on this vehicle.  I took the alternator and
the upper alternator bracket off to access plug #1 as recommended in the
manual, but 3 and 5 are impossible without further disassembly.  The
mopar atf+420 Feb 2007 15:19 GMT1
Does it really make a difference to use the mopar atf+4 when flushing trans.
I have a TC 2004 w/68K miles. Flushed once at 30K with trans shop ATF +some
addative. Drives fine... Time to flush again
Recurrent air in rear brakes20 Feb 2007 09:30 GMT1
I have a 98 Grand Caravan, front wheel drive, with ABS.  I had to
change one of the rear wheel cylinders.  I fully bled the brakes
making sure the resevoir didn't go dry.  About a couple of days later
the brakes went from firm positive stopping to spongy pumping to
Power Locks20 Feb 2007 02:33 GMT5
I leased a 2006 Caravan a year ago and as part of the deal I received
a Mopar remoter starter. Imagine my suprise when I found that there
was no button for unlocking the doors.  No only that but the only way
to unlock all the doors is to unlock one of the front doors, open it
