Brake Problem '96 Concorde 3.3 - Possibly ABS?17 May 2007 04:44 GMT3
'96 Concorde LXI 3.3 no traction control, 132K miles
When I step on the brake pedal, car starts to slow okay. Then the pedal
begins to "chatter" (it's tough to describe what it exactly sounds and
feels like) and it feels like the braking system is failing. If I push
98 dodge 2500 dies16 May 2007 17:38 GMT1
i reacently rebuilt the trans in a 1998 dodge v10 shortly after it
came back, symptoms where driving along after maybe 5 miles it would
cut out like a diesel whith water in it, real agressive cut outs of
the engine . when it died it would flash the service engine soon
rebuilding a slant 6 engine16 May 2007 17:36 GMT1
I am rebuilding a 225 slant 6 engine in a 73 Valiant because it needs
new oil control rings.
However, when I try to pull the piston out of the block, I can't do
it- the rod gets stuck at the bottom of the cylinder.
1962 Plymouth Valiant Rear Bumper Search16 May 2007 05:25 GMT4
I just purchased a 1962 Valinat and its rear bumper is bent. Before I
start researching places to have it straightened and rechromed, I
wanted to check here to see if anyone knows of a supplier or honest
salvage yard (preferably in the Houston area) that sells these
2004 T&C Howling Rear Hubs16 May 2007 02:58 GMT3
Hi All -- newby poster here, but long time lurker.
My rear hubs have a major howl to them.  It took Dodge service forever
to find the issue as it used to take the hubs warming up before they
made the howl.  They always thought it had to be the (rear disk)
Kirk spurned; Chrysler doomed15 May 2007 22:17 GMT11
Looks like "Dr. Z." hosed off financier Kirk Kerkorian's bid to buy
the mismanaged and moribund Chrysler Group from Daimler, with DC
instead accepting an offer from the nebulous "Cerberus Group," chock
full of Republipedo operatives like failed Bushie Treasury secretary
Concorde parking break problem15 May 2007 06:06 GMT4
I have a 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXi that I bought recently (with 4
wheel discs & ABS). Having gotten it I discovered that the parking
brake did not work. Thus I took off rear discs and discovered that
somebody took out ALL the parking brake stuff (shoes, levers, hardware
2000 Chrysler Voyager heater speed control14 May 2007 22:41 GMT1
It appears the speed control for my minivan is kaput!  The fans runs
on high only.  Where do I find the fan speed resistors if they still
use these?
Thanks Claton
How to make the power sockets permenantly live14 May 2007 21:03 GMT3
In my handbook for the 2007 Dodge Caravan SXT it says you can "get the
dealer to make the power sockets permenantly live". As it is they are on
only when the ignition is on.  How is it done? Is it a simple thing?
I know how I could do it in a number of different ways but if theres ...
sebring convertible hardtop14 May 2007 17:36 GMT1
I have a 2001 sebring convertible and I am considering the 2008
convertible hardtop. The car appears to be very different though.
Different engines, transmissions, tops, and body style. Almost an
entirely different car. Are there any opinions on this car from the
cylinder misfire problem14 May 2007 10:18 GMT1
I have a 98 caravan with the 2.4l engine with 49k miles. It has been
occasionally sputtering lately and the ses light came on with code
p0303-"cylinder 3 misfire detected". What would cause this problem and
code? It has been leaking oil from the driver side rear corner from
2000 Voyager Horn Problem14 May 2007 07:45 GMT7
Just lost horn button operation from steering wheel. When I cranked car,
the airbag light stayed on for a longer period of time than normal.
Horn still works from remote.
Buyer Beware at Chrysler14 May 2007 03:15 GMT34
My question is this.
If Chrysler doesn't have the volume to keep their designs up to date,
why did GM fall so far behind with their designs?

Replacement of fluid in Torque converter13 May 2007 23:15 GMT27
My wife was in the hospital, and I guess that I was preoccupied.  I had
gotten so used to using the ATF +3 in my 95 Caravan that I accidentally used
it for a fluid and filter change in her 99 Concorde instead of the synthetic
ATF +4.  I feel that I need to get as much of this ATF ...
