We have a 2001 with approx 100K miles. Consumer Reports magazine indicates above average cooling system problems for that year. Anyone know what the problem is -- water pump or radiator or ? I'd just like to know what to watch for. Tnx.

Car came with Goodyear Assurance tires. After around 16K miles, they developed a whirring, roaring sound that increase in pitch with speed, almost as if they were cupped. Too new for bad shocks, I thought. I rotate tires every 6000 miles religiously.

I figure I can run the car without ac the dealer opened the clutch on the compressor so the belt wilol turn .they wanted $1900 to fix the A/ C and thet as just too much for a van with 120k miles on it..anyway I bought a belt for this veh without air and it looks like I'm screwed
