PT Cruiser Cooling System Problems30 Nov 2007 17:07 GMT2
We have a 2001 with approx 100K miles.  Consumer Reports magazine indicates
above average cooling system problems for that year.  Anyone know what the
problem is -- water pump or radiator or ?  I'd just like to know what to
watch for.  Tnx.
The chief of police cars30 Nov 2007 15:23 GMT20
"The sporty upstart Dodge Charger is aiming to challenge Ford Motor
Co.'s Crown Victoria as chief of police cars. Chrysler LLC's full-sized
model that debuted in 2006 is no immediate threat to the Crown Vic or

2007 300C w/Goodyear tires--Noisy30 Nov 2007 01:42 GMT24
Car came with Goodyear Assurance tires.  After around 16K miles, they
developed a whirring, roaring sound that increase in pitch with speed,
almost as if they were cupped.  Too new for bad shocks, I thought.  I
rotate tires every 6000 miles religiously.
Radio antenna and car wash28 Nov 2007 23:20 GMT3
I have a 2005 Neon with a rigid radio antenna and I'm worried that if I
take it through an automatic car wash I'll damage it. Should the antenna be
removed before taking it through the wash? (It looks like it might require
a special tool to pop it out.) Nothing in the user's ...

Check engine line came on and I smelt gas.  So, I shut down.  I read
the code and it has 3 codes.  1 code is random engine misfire.  The

Intermittent Transmission Leak26 Nov 2007 15:26 GMT2
I've notice transmission fluid under my 2001 Chrysler van. It appears
to be running down from the front of the cover. However, this only
happens occassionally. The last time was a year ago, etc., I've had
the tranny/filter changed last summer, but it hasn't leaked until

2000 Dodge Intrepid with 3.2 liter engine.  On starting yesterday,

My original fuel pump has been loud for 20000 miles. It finally died
and had it replaced about a month ago. The new pump lasted about 3
weeks b4 it started making intermittent rattling sounds. The shop
replaced it and now this 2nd pump is starting to get noisy. Could

Car is close to 100 000 Km (60 000 miles)   Engines is 2.7L driven in
Canada, about 70-30 hiway to city miles.
Should I switch to full or semi synthetic to help this car last to 200 000

the compressor so the belt wilol turn .they wanted $1900 to fix the A/

It's Like Magic18 Nov 2007 23:42 GMT4
I just hit 99,899 miles on my 01 PT Cruiser, and while driving into work
today the engine service light popped on and the exhaust started to rattle.
I kid you not!!!! [Code suggests a major emission's vacuum leak].
