Trying to find out about another problem with the minivan..
At low RPM sometimes, the power steering pump makes a whining/groaning
sound.   Sometimes, when it is making the sound and you turn the
wheels, the steering rack makes the whole minivan vibrate as well.   I

Drilled holes to get the water out, but there is residual water than
beads up scattering the beam. Any suggestions short of a hair dryer to
get the inside dried out? I have some long tweezers so I could get some
paper towels in and mop up the beaded water and perhaps wipe inside ...

Recently the 2.4 in my '00 Voyager van has begun to detonate or ping
on mid to full throttle acceleration under load.  If you back off it
stops.  The motor has 155K miles on it, and has always run well.  It
has had regular oil changes and maintenance.  It is slightly overdue
